Great location, fab pool and jacuzzi, sadly steam room not open. Wonderful games room. Quality breakfast and to end the stay the best afternoon tea 'sunday roast style'. Will definitely return.
The hotel is very much as described ,very clean, the single room was quite small but useable.Food ok cooked to order.
The only reservation which is worthy of note for those guests with a disability is the distance from the small car park to the rooms.
Parking is limited but free parking on road outside.
Only problem here is that the hotel is built on a hill and would be extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to access easily if not by a car.Two disabled places and approx 15 standard spaces for cars.
Non are reservable.
Didn't use the leisure facilities but these looked ok.
Really nice hotel. The staff member i met was helpful. I had a small single room which had everything i needed for my short stay. It was clean and looked well maintained. I didn't have any meals there but the dining rooms looked clean and well decorated. I would stay again.
A decent stay at a weekend during the winter period of low occupancy that was generally pleasant. The main areas of the hotel were modern clean and well kept. The room was small with the single bed (as I paid for) in an alcove (so access from one side) but comfortable and clean; the bathroom was modern and clean. The bedroom floor - while clean - squeaked a lot....as did the others in the hotel seemingly which was disconcerting and annoying when the same heard from other rooms.
The 'health club' (pool, hot tub and steam room) were clean generally (including the changing rooms), warm. The steam room showed the beginnings of a 'biofilm' growing on the walls and floors; I found a false eyelash on the floor - but that was the only thing.
The area - North Bay - isn't the most touristy in February - or in peak season in the same way as South Bay/ center proper is - but the hotel was easy to access by road to use a base for exploring by car or on foot.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. I am recovering from surgery and use a crutch at present, one member of staff helped me move tables without being prompted.
I liked the hotel overall, parking wasnât easy very small car park. The pool was shallow not brilliant for swimming. Food in the evening wasnât the best, I had duck in a sauce which was very watery not what I expected. Breakfast was great and a nice bar to sit in . Would definitely recommend
