Interesting to visit....

Room is dated and a little worn out... stained carpet and bedspread. Bathroom was very small. Good news - the whole hotel is being updated. Maggies - the restaurant on the 1st floor is closed... not sure if will ever open again. The website photos are a little misleading.

Staff was nice and helpful. The bathroom smelled like someone had just done a number 2 upon our arrival, but it dissipated during the first part of our stay…meaning, it doesn’t always smell like that.

I was expecting to be in the main hotel building but little did I know they have an unattached office building that also has rooms above it. We were in one of them. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. Although the room furniture and decor was decent and clean the carpet was stained, there was no view at all of the ocean and the main hotel’s restaurant and bar was permanently closed which was not advertised as such. For the price it was a disappointment and we should have stayed elsewhere.

Hello Callie,I am sorry for the confusion. We are a boutique hotel and each room is individually described on line. In the future look for the rooms listing an ocean view in the description, rather than the room listed as an "annex building, non view, 2nd story room", when you are selecting your room type.
