The room I reserved was not available, after had booked it, and was not made aware of this fact until check-in. I would have liked to know sooner. They said it was an "upgrade" from the room we had reserved...but it was not. The price was the same, but we liked the layout of the original room better.

No restroom electricity

I had no electricity in my bathroom and didn’t get any money returned. I couldn’t see to take a shower, use the restroom or do my hair. Also, the window was quite gross, but it didn’t bother me too bad. I was also annoyed that my phone and watch didn’t charge because none of the outlets were working either.

Impromptu trip to Seaside

It was just Ok for just one night. Can’t see staying there for several days. My room was clean but very dated, old furniture with obvious scuffs & scratches. Windows were disabled so unable to open. Ice machine didn’t work. Layout of this self described boutique hotel is odd - hallways are dark & narrow. As solo traveler, I wasn’t impressed with over all building security.

The hotel room was nicely decorated with beautiful outdoor views, but the experience was awful! The bathtub wouldn’t hold water, and the shower drain was severely clogged, forcing our family to awkwardly wash in the tub. We called the front desk, but no one answered. At checkout, we raised the issue, and they promised the owner would contact us—never happened. When we complained via Expedia, the hotel denied the clog, claiming the property was newly renovated and they were unaware of any issue. Utterly unacceptable service. Do not recommend!

The front desk rep wasn’t very helpful. He forgot to give me the WiFi password so I had to go back and get it as he wouldn’t answer the phone. I wasn’t able to get the fireplace working in my room which he offered no help in checking out or fixing and he wasn’t sure how to get the smart tv to work. Very disappointed with the lack of assistance

They are under construction but didn’t post anything on their website about it. We were woken up at 8:01 am with hammering, riveting and power saws. Mattress was also slumped in the middle. Management didn’t apologize or make any amends. 2nd night some obnoxious people checked in and kept talking loudly in the hallway not taking into consideration that others were on the floor. This set off all dogs to start barking from their rooms. Again, management didn’t care or make amends. I don’t recommend only because management seemed to be only worried that they get their money.
