Clearly a family operated property by a middle eastern family. They don't employ housekeeping and had what appeared to be their young adult children working with them on the rooms. They were all outside and saw me pull up and still nobody was ready to help me check in, and I had to go find someone and it was super weird and awkward, unwelcoming.
The room smelled horrible and they tried to cover it up by some intense fragrance I could not find the source of. Absolutely appalling, headache inducing, chemical pollution. We rented when it was hot outside and when we opened the room it was baking in the heat, so hotter than outside. I propped the door open and turned on the AC while I went to my car so that it could air out and cool off, and before I had even gotten back to the room the owners who were working on cleaning the other rooms went in and turned it off. That's rude as hell, considering the condition we were given the room in. We ended up only using this room to shower because my family's house we were staying at had the hot water heater go out - we had planned to stay the night but after the initial situation we did not.
My dog was in the car with my husband and they came up to me talking about how animals aren't allowed in the rooms, when I had made no indication he would be coming into the room. Don't know why pets aren't allowed, the place is already filthy. Bedding was old and terrible. I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely pay more and go somewhere else
