Had a comfortable stay at this hotel. It’s nothing luxurious, but conveniently located near Myeongdong shopping (though a short uphill walk to get there). The price was reasonable, and I’d happily stay here again on my next visit to Seoul.

The hotel is walking distance to the shops however it’s hidden in one of the small alleys so I felt unsafe to walk when it gets dark. The staff cannot speak English and the hotel does NOT have a microwave which was incorrectly advertised….

A convenient value.

It was very good. The mattress was a bit too hard, but other than that it was good. Air con responded quickly and worked well. Staff was helpful.

The location was great—very convenient for travelling around Myeongdong, Jongro, and Insadong. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they did a good job making the room clean every day. However, there was no amenity provided for showering (no shampoo or body wash). Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Small hotel in nice location with the necessary services. Friendly staff. Quiet neighbourhood with a short walk to the metro and to the myongdong. Short walk to the Namsan cable car. Lots of restautants near by.

Hotel was on a small street but was easy to find. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest train station but accessible and near a few markets with restaurant options near by. It was a little odd that we were told that toilet paper had to be thrown in the trash can and not the toilet. This is new to us. They took out the trash daily which help with odor control. Rooms were small but everything worked and in good condition. The kids enjoyed their stay. The front desk was helpful and they also lent us some power outlet adaptors, which was a big help since we didn't have one.

The hotel was clean and big enough to fit 3 beds for 3 people with large luggages. The staffs are friendly and they provide room cleaning service everyday. The only downside is because it's near the namsan tower the location is pretty steep which will be hard for someone with older people. There's a convenient store 5 minutes away and also close to the station and bus stops.

Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It's in a great location, only a 5 minute walk from a subway station with simple routes to all the main areas of Seoul. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and our room was tidied and given fresh towels every day.I would highly recommend Namsan Hill Hotel to tourists who are looking for a budget-friendly place to stay but still want comfort and accessibility while they are exploring the city.
