Lovely place, perfect location

The cabins are new, clean, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. Very highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity!

Publié le 31 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe room was very nice and clean! The wood walls inside the room were beautiful. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfy with super soft sheets. It was also dog friendly so we could bring Buddy!

You can’t go wrong

About 1/2 mile from the north entrance of Itasca State Park and the headwaters of the Mississippi. They also sell pizza & ice cream on site. The staff was friendly and helpful. Christine goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and have everything you need. Lobo’s Bar & Grill is just a short drive from there. Very good food and friendly staff.

Up North Retreat

Big Timbers also had an Ice Cream/Snack shop as well as gift-souvenir items. The host was very accommodating and social. We would highly recommend staying at this property while visiting the Lake Itasca Park area! Thanks for the fantastic hospitality!

It was very quiet. Everyone was kind and efficient. The couch was worn and smelled like urine. We had a little trouble finding the place, but that is our Gps problem.
