Spectacular Torreon Mountain Estate

Exceptional 5,200 sq ft. country estate in the White Mountain’s Torreon Country Club. The home is situated on a wooded acre lot, perched above the fairway of the first hole of the Cabin golf course. Enjoy unobstructed views of this picturesque hole from tee to green, a fairway lake, bridge and babbling brook with open space across the fairway. At an ideal 6,500 foot elevation, Torreon averages a summer high temperature that is 20 degrees cooler than the Valley.

The home is designed to take full advantage of the surrounding natural beauty with a great room that features a 28 ‘ tall wall of windows . You will enjoy the outdoor living area with its dining table, couch and wood burning fireplace. Extensive cedar decking surrounds the home and the recessed spa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stars.

Designed for spacious comfort with five oversized bedrooms and 4.5 baths, the home can comfortably sleep 12 in four master beds, and a large bunkroom that sleeps six. Whether a small family getaway or large reunion, you’ll feel right at home.

The house is all you’d expect from a top notch estate with hand scraped walnut hardwood floors, alder doors and cedar ceilings. The gourmet kitchen is fully outfitted with state of the art appliances, a large dining island and granite countertops. The master bath features a soaking tub, gas fireplace and three head steam shower. There are seven large flat screen televisions, three fireplaces, four refrigerators and wireless internet.

The upstairs game room is a great place to hang out with a pool table and large flat screen TV. The BBQ master will appreciate the option of the gas grill, charcoal grill/smoker and sear burner located right off the kitchen in the outdoor living area.

There is no shortage of fun possibilities with all of the family activities within walking distance of the house. The common areas, restaurants and bars are available to guests. The golf club facilities and pool are available to Torreon members only.

The house offers a cool getaway in the summertime with a lot of fun filled family activities. In the winter months, skiing at Sunrise is less than an hour away and often times there is enough snow to sled on the golf course right in front of the house.

The house was fabulous! It was perfect for our group of 11. The Jacuzzi was working beautifully. We loved having a huge table where we could all sit and play games and eat together. The beds and pillows were a little bit firm, there was so much space in the house that we all had plenty of room to spread out. We had a memorable lovely time!
