Sympa pour visiter la ville car bien placé, pub avec groupe music le week-end, petit déjeuner ok, personnelle trÚs sympa. Chambre trÚs basique, pas de parking à l'hÎtel...

We were advised by the hotel in advance that the pub was a busy town centre one, and noisy, but there was nowhere else available to stay. Live music blasting through the floor and walls until finally stopped at midnight. Bathroom taps loose, one not working and toilet seat fixed by one hinge. We'll put up with most things at our age, but at nearly ÂŁ190 for 2 nights, a few criticisms need pointing out

A hidden gem! With character. Excellent value for money. Very spacious room (Room 3). Friendly, no fuss staff. We joined in with the locals in the quiz on Wednesday evening - great fun. Had the 2 for ÂŁ20 meal deal - good belly pork. Nice real ale - Wainwrights. Good breakfast. Central location, 10 minutes walk from railway station.

Very good value stay ÂŁ70 room including 2 breakfasts'! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside is the noise if there is live music in the pub, but this wrapped up around midnight for us and closing the window made it barely audible to no big issue.

The Inn Crowd

Outstanding hospitality from all the staff. Extremely friendly and helpful. The pub food is exceptional and good value for money. It’s a lively place (regularly features bands) with a great atmosphere. Go there and enjoy it!

I was not happy with a walk down the corridor to my private bathroom and it was an awkward combination of doors and staircases to reach my bedroom. It felt over-priced but the location was excellent

I had booked this room mainly because it had a bath, which I never got to use because the water was cold every day. I reported it on day one and nothing was done about it. I just had to have quick, cold showers each day. Awful. The bathroom was disgusting. Urine stains on the toilet seat, which was also loose and would swivel around leaving you sitting on the porcelain. The taps were also loose and you had to hold them at the base to prevent them also swivelling around. The room was noisy, partly from the live music and functions at the venue, but mainly from the other guests. My room was near the entrance to the main accommodation, so there was a lot of door slamming and creaking floorboards. I didn't get much sleep during my entire stay. The bed was something that a charity shop would reject. Without doubt the worst bed I have ever experienced in any accommodation, including backpackers. The only good things about this place were the breakfast and its central location.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and excellent value for money. Located near to the centre. Will definitely return 😀

One night stay in central Shrewsbury

The rooms are in an annexe to the pub. 24 hour access to the rooms with a key to that areas. Stairs are quite steep but there's not too many of them. The room was spacious and with central heating that worked. Also there was a small mobile heater and a fan. Only issue was the shower was small and the temperature of the water was impossible to get right. The English Breakfast tasted good, made to order, though the sausage was small. The service was very pleasant. All in all a good value stay and the location was a bonus, near the centre of town. Less than ten minutes from the railway station.

Excellent cooked breakfast. Nice quiet location. They do have band on at the weekend but not a problem on the second floor. Very helpful staff. No parking nearby but that's the same for type accommodation the town centre.
