Just came back from a 5 day stay and it was just what was needed. The property was conveniently located near several restaurants and a few feet away from the beach. The only drawback was the elevator being out of service, but the great customer service made up for it. Latoya was absolutely amazing and accommodated all of the requests and inquires that I had during my stay. She connected me to a taxi driver (Mr. Benoit) when needed. Provided me with information on where to eat and also what to do. I can’t say enough good things about her and the hotel as a whole. For my first time in SXM it was great and I can’t wait to go back.

My choice in choosing a property comes down to the location. Is it walkable to dining and sites, what other reviewers are currently saying about the property and is it locally owned. I chose Baker’s Suites over all the other hotels in the area for simply those reasons. My front desk ladies, Ms. Latoya you were AWESOME our entire time there and you represent Baker’s Suites on another level. Ms. Shanay, your kindness towards each and every guest was nothing short of impeccable customer service. We stayed in the partial oceanview room with King bed and the room did not disappoint. Restaurants in short walking distance of the hotel, beach right across the street which I enjoyed the clear calm waters every single morning of my trip(no crowds).

The location is super good, you have a beach less that 50 m away. I recommend renting a car so you can go to other beaches and meet the both parts of the island. Latoya was amazing at the front desk and the housekeeper too. The rooms are big and you even have a kitchen. There is a little market next the hotel and a lot of restaurants that you can walk and also go in car.

A very clean hotel, close to beach and restaurants

This is a hotel not a resort, but it is a fantastic hotel ! It is exceptionally clean, has designated parking on site, and is close to beach (just across street. ) The picture of the beach with this add is of the public access across the street from a fantastic Beach Bar called the Buccaneer Beach Bar. This hotel is not on the beach but just across the street from the beach. We had a partial beach view room with a balcony. This room was basic but had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, utensils pots, plates etc). The staff were exceptional and the hotel was very clean. Thanks to our cleaning lady, Christina R who was very attentive to what we needed. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely come back to this hotel, as we liked being close to beach, restaurants, grocery store and loved how clean it was.
