This is a beautifully kept property, sparkling clean everywhere(especially the hot tub which is the cleanest one I've ever been in!), very well planned layout and classily decorated. The garden, although small, is well designed and feels totally private despite residences on either side - we never heard or saw anything from either neighbour. The whole patio area, including the hot tub, is protected from the elements by a lean to roof and feels really sheltered - we sat out for breakfast both mornings even though the temperature was only 7 or 8oC and felt comfortable. The hosts supplied everything to make our stay a home from home, including a jug of milk on arrival, ice cubes in the freezer, tea and coffee supplies, and lovely toiletries in the bathroom (which has a very spacious walk in double width shower). The large TV is welcome when the weather isn't great, there's a fire for cosy evenings plus central heating, and there are even board games provided if that's your thing! Friendly hosts (we met Sally on the first morning and had a lovely chat) who were very responsive and communicative when we made various enquiries. The village where the cottage is located is very quiet and peaceful, and Skipton is easily accessible via a short (less than 2 miles) walk along a quiet footpath, or if preferred alongside a road, on pavements. I visited with a friend, but liked it so much I plan to return with my husband later on the year. Very happy to recommend!
