Fantastic stay in Sligo

It was amazing! We loved our stay at The Glasshouse and wish we could have stayed longer. Room 515 was fantastic! Incredible views of the area, especially the river below. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious! The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I highly recommend staying here.

The only negative We had was at night when you wanted to have a drink and listen to music as a resident ,it was near impossible to get a seat because of so many non residents. Other than that everything was very good.

We had a river view room which was lovely to watch the swans. Breakfast was more than adequate. Meal and drinks prices average. Would love to spend a while on the deck in summer.

Best location in town!

I found The Glasshouse to be overall a good hotel. It is centrally located, which is probably why it's a bit pricey! €297 for a twin room in March?! I was visiting with a friend, and we got a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the river. We had great cocktails in the upstairs bar, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were just adequate, especially at reception. Fantastic bar service, and also in the breakfast restaurant, though. Overall pleasant stay. Tip: the lifts have a mind of their own!!
