Check in was fine. Our room was dank; carpeting felt damp when walking barefoot. Ew! Bathroom door would stick and was difficult to open. Mildew and rust around bathroom door and mildew in corners. AC unit was noisy; rattling and whining. Bed was comfortable but pillows were uncomfortable. Overall, a disappointing experience given the price we paid. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

Carpet in room was dirty, sticky. Needs steam cleaned. Tub drain slow. Paint missing off of wall. Control buttons on air unit broken. Once turned down could not turn it back up. Back door entrance card reader broken. Could just open door. Very unsecure. Tv remote very sticky. Place over priced. Expected better conditions for the price we paid.

The complimentary breakfast was good, had a variety of items. The shower in our room was disgusting. We were in the area to visit friends camping at Van Buren State Park so we took our showers at the state park, rather than our hotel room.

The hotel badly needs updated. The doors of each room were very dirty on the outside. The lighting and paint were stark and uninviting. The comforter of one bed smelled like urine. The carpeting in our room was stained. My daughter had a container of spoiled milk at breakfast. The location is very convenient to drive into town or the beach.

Stairwell very dirty, room was very damp, noise above our room likely from children heard at night and early in the morning. The children piece is obviously nothing that can be fixed. The room was clean and comfortable. Had no idea how to work remotes for tv. We could have asked the front desk, but did not.

First night check in return to the front desk at 8pm to ask for enough towels. Rang bell and waited for 15minutes for someone to notice I was waiting at the front desk. Tiles in bathroom loose (slip hazard) just outside of shower. Toilet was gross dirty inside the bowel and around the base of the toilet. Stains/dried food pieces on wall near headboard of bed. Layer of dirt on beside table and lamp. Visible black mold all over front of air conditioner which was extremely lowd and struggled for the entire weekend. Will not stay here again

We asked for another room or shade to be fixed. Shade would not pull down. The desk agent said no they didnt have any rooms or people to fix shade until after we left. Offered no other solution. So we checked out and drove home missing one night of our vacation. Unacceptable.

Pictures look decent online but the hotel was very outdated and dirty. Tiles in the bathroom floor was loose and looked to have black mold in the grout and shower. Musty smell. Common areas were messy and dirty.

I was disappointed with how dirty and run down the room was. Dust on the surfaces, floor lamp area had not been vacuumed or dusted. Shower curtain had a black stain and smelled bad. Both table lamps didnt work. I called housekeeping to tell them about the lamps...they never came to look at them. I paid $400 for two nights and it was not worth it. I can handle an old building but not the lack of housekeeping.

As soon as we walked into the hotel, there was an overwhelming musty, moldy smell in the lobby. The smell was worse in the pool area. It was also in our room. We booked a king and they gave us a queen. Had to go back to have the unfriendly man at desk change it. We’d never return. Very unpleasant to smell that overwhelming smell for 2 days.

The bed was very comfortable, the toilet had an enthusiastic flush!, the shower was good. The sink drained poorly and the place is "dirty around the edges" - the elevator, hallways, outside edges of tub and bathroom.

This hotel is awful, it is absolutely disgusting and it is staffed by low lives, they had personal friends visiting in the lobby and in the parking lot. The entire place was filthy, the room was disgusting and reeked. Carpets were stained, the elevator was gross, and the pool looked like a farm pond. Way, way, over priced for what it is, stay somewhere else if you can.

Overall the place was fine for 2 guys, but there are clues everywhere that this is an old building that was remodeled probably 10 years ago. Our room literally had a ceiling (above the shower) that was about to cave in. For real. Large crack from water dripping from bathroom on floor above. How the property manager doesn't know about this or doesn't care is unbelievable. The room should not be rented until that's fixed. It's about to cave in and it looks terrible. There was also black mold forming on the caulk lines around portions of the shower base. Housekeeping and maintenance not doing their jobs. The bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever. When you take a shower and it gets steam in there - it stays that way for like 20 minutes. Very frustrating. Like a steam room. There was no soap at the sink or anywhere. We had to use the shower soap (body wash) to wash our hands, and naturally the shower body wash bottle was nearly empty. It was empty after our 2 day stay.

The breakfast seemed lacking, wish there was fresh fruit. Was woken up at 5am by people stomping above is, wish that was quieter but that’s not really the hotels fault

Received an email that check in was 3PM. We arrived at 3 and were told “I don’t know why they send those emails out. Our check in time is 4PM”. Came back at 4PM, checked in & received our key and at that requested daily towel service. We went to the room and the cleaning person was still working and said to come back in 15 minutes. Bathroom door knob halfway off & door wouldn’t close all the way. Cheap mattress so if the other person in the bed rolled over the entire mattress bounced up & down. No clock radio in the room. Called the front desk, woke up a man who could not say why there was no clock in the room. Next day left & came back in the evening only to discover that the room had not been cleaned. We did not have the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign out. Called the front desk, no answer. Went down and knocked on the door and woman asked if we requested service. We were puzzled why one would have to request it after paying $358 per night! She agreed to give us fresh towels and brought them. Would never stay there again.
