We arrived at 6:02 pm and our room was not ready. After much discussion between the check in clerk and housekeeping, we were given another room. The carpet in this room was stained and dirty, the curtain was difficult to close and had black duct tape, cabinet door to refrigerator was about to fall off, trim in bathroom was falling apart and looked like some black mold in shower. Fortunately we only were staying one night.

Room for Improvement
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HotelsJust okay. The place needs some maintenance and updating. Our room ceiling had ugly roof leak stains, and the elevator buttons were badly worn. It appeared that all the other nearby properties were newer. The breakfast was good.

Sleepless in South Hill
Publié le 20 nov. 2023 sur HotelsHotel is very dated … room was dark and dingy. I arrived late, immediately got ready for bed and went to turn on the heating/cooling unit before calling it a night.
It sounded like there was a semi truck idling in the room … I shut it off, only to discover I could hear people talking, doors banging, other cooling/heating units running, etc. (10:30 on a Tuesday night)
I tried to turn on TV for some distraction/back ground noise and remote didn’t work.
This night was miserable.
