This older island home features a nice large front deck which allows for perfect viewing of the weekend fireworks and people watching!
House is located near attractions like; the historic Louie's Backyard, Coconuts bar and grill, Dairy Queen, Gravity Park, Pizza Hut and more!
We're in the center of all the fun and engaging activities during your stay.
The island cottage is an OLDER unit which means it will not have all the amenities of a modern condo. What the Cottage lacks in amenities, it makes up for in charm and simplicity. Again, this was an older island home as such there may have some quirks and unpolished aesthetics.
If you're looking for a simple place to relax, detach and have as your home base for experiencing the fun activities on the island, then this is a great property for your next Island adventure!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. My family of 4 was very comfortable. It was a 1 bedroom but we had plenty of room. There was plenty of restaurants and family entertainment within walking distance. We drove to the beach only because of the amount of things we took. Only recommendation I would make would be slightly better toilet paper, I bought my own, and more towels for bathing.

Last Minute Weekend Trip

Property was as described. Don’t judge a book by its cover, the place is just right. Ocean is a few blocks away, the bay is 2 blocks away. Great for the kids, front patio is clutch.

Great experience and communication with host. Property is perfect for a couple's getaway. Cozy, yet still comfortable enough. Right in the middle of the island and withing a 7 minute walk to the beach. Definitely booking next year ! thebeach.bDefinitelbooking it again !

Great Family Fun!

This was our second stay. We love the location near all of the fun. Our 2 year old loved being able to hop on his bike and ride around the gravity park and bay. Clean and has everything we needed. Making our tradition to stay!

Excelente departamento

El departamento es identico a las fotografĂ­as, se encuentra muy bien ubicado para poder ir a pie a los mejores lugares de la isla, yo viaje con mi hermana y nuestros cuatro perritos y pasamos un tiempo invreible, la.playa esta a solo cuadra y media de la casa y es super comoda. El aire enfria super bien y tiene dos televisiones, seguro repito ahi. Y Cindy respondia de inmediato a nuestras dudas. Estuvo genial

Overpriced and dirty! Furniture is uncomfortable. Nails sticking up on deck. Broken chair and rusted shelving unit on back deck. Only 1 knife. Looks out on parking lot of Gravity Park so very noisy at night. No sunset view. Look elsewhere!

Perfect size and location for a couple looking to spend a few days together. Because of the location expect some noise though. However, didn't lose sleep. Will definitely be booking again.

Great Location

Great cozy property for a long weekend. Right across the parking lot from Gravity Park, as well as several other good bars and restaurants. Awesome view of the fireworks show from the front deck. Cindy, was on top of any questions that we had. We would certainly stay again.

BEST WEEKEND IN 10 YEARS

We had the best time in a decade. I have been coming to SPI since the early 80's. My family lives(d) there. Most have passed :(. It's an awesome location. We will definitely be back with u guys!! Thank You Very Much.

Perfect spot for the 4th!

This was a great place! Easy to get to, and park. It was right next to the gravity park and restaraunts. We had fun watching people swing and fall from tbe porch. All walking distance to all of the action. We stayed with our baby and dog and it was fine. You can see the fireworks right from the front porch. It was clean and Cindy was quick with replying if we had any questions. Over all great we will stay again!

Areas of improvement

Living room tv remote baterries were dead so i never watched tv in the living room. There r some light bulbs that were burned out: 2 in the bedroom ceiling fan et 1 in the floor lamp next to fouton. Other than that, it was great, very clean, easy to find. Thank yu Cindy.

Don't judge the book by it's cover. Very comfortable and safe. Great AC. when you've spent a hot day outside. A bit noisy due to area but great location for fun times and watch fireworks from your deck. A true South Padre experience

Super dog friendly

Easy in and out of neighborhood on foot. Gravity park and restaurants on bay side provided awesome entertainment. Took our long suffering dog to the beach two to three times a day. She loved it.We enjoyed Liam's Steak house for adult time. The deck was nice place to relax. Loved the shower, felt like a spa. Really good to have a baby gate up at the top. Also view of bay for sunsets. We didn't get to see fireworks because it was off season, but I am sure that deck was the place to be. Cindy was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Really enjoyed the stay, will be back.

Did not used the Facility

We had a car accident outside of Corpus Christi and had to wait for 2 days to get a rental car during the Labor Day Weekend. Our Vehicle is a total loss and we had no more time to get down to South Padre Island. I had to use one star in order to send my review. The only bad part is we lost the money we didn't used.

Very beachy and comfy!

The outside may scare you away but the inside is wonderful! Everything was great! Cindy was very attentive to my needs when i texted her! Would stay here again! Thinking about coming back next year or maybe sooner! 😊
