Enjoy luxurious living in this traditional yet contemporary residence in the heart of Southampton Village. Natural light bathes the 5,200 square-foot interior with hardwood floors and clean white walls in the open floor plan. Modern art on the walls throughout the home adds color and character. Relax in the great room surrounded by windows and glass sliders overlooking the backyard, a fireplace, and flat-screen TV. Whip up a hearty brunch in the chefs kitchen with custom cabinetry, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, and an island. The sizable island offers more space for meal prep or laying out hors d'oeuvres. Sit on one of the four chairs on the island as you sip a cup of home-brewed coffee and read the morning paper. A four-person table between the kitchen and the great room offers a more casual dining space. Share a meal at the eight-person table in the formal dining room with a wet bar. Gather in the finished, spacious lower level with a flat-screen TV and kitchenette. Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.
Note: All payments must be made prior to check-in.
VRBO charges the guest directly for their service fee and applicable taxes, while StayMarquis charges separately for the rental rate. As a result, you will see two separate charges at the time of booking-one from VRBO and one from StayMarquis.
If there is a second installment, it will be collected directly by StayMarquis shortly after the first installment.
Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.
Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $25,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.

Heavenly Stay
My family (and our dog - who gives the house a 5 paw approval) stayed at the Southampton Village sensation for the New Year (12/26-1/3). We were there for over a week and it was sensational.
We booked our stay through StayMarquis which was quick and easy (with the help of Madison at StayMarquis) but afterwards we primarily dealt with the owner (Joe) and the owner's representative (Glen) regarding the house, both of whom were friendly, easy going and wonderful to deal with. Even though Joe happened to be out of town (way out on another continent) during our actual stay, he went out of his way to keep in contact by e-mail to make sure we were enjoying our stay. It was comforting to know that he was available (even by e-mail). Glen was also great. We had an extremely minor mechanical problem with the outdoor hot tub which Joe immediately took care of.
Before we arrived we received a "welcome" e-mail that had detailed, easy to follow instructions regarding all aspects of he house.
The location of the house is great. It is on a quiet street, within walking distance or an extremely short drive to town. Couldn't ask for a better location. Shopping is only a very short drive away and there are numerous restaurants that are also a short drive away.
The house was beautiful, modern, extremely spacious, clean and had every convenience and appliance you could ask for. Everything was new. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable and the bathroom in the master bedroom was spacious.
The basement had a workout area and couch with a large big screen TV that we all loved.
The kitchen was spacious with every gadget you could want. All modern/new appliances. A great space to cook and eat in if that is what you want to do.
The fenced backyard was great. Our dog loved it. While the pool was closed we had use of the outdoor hot tub which was amazing - as was the outdoor fireplace and big screen TV - with extra outdoor heaters, that were also available for our use. Couldn't ask for more.
We highly recommend this house.
