Cabin was clean and had many supplies. Be aware that the bathroom is not in the cabin but just a few steps away and is a private bath, did not impact our stay. Seems like it would be a good place to stay in warmer months when you could use the lake amenities. We chose the property because of its proximity to Stone House Vineyard, we were attending an event there and wanted to stay close by.
Can't say enough great things about this property! It has everything you would ever need - lake front access, grilling supplies, and an awesome pavilion with some games. You'll definitely be planning your next getaway here even before you have left!
Cozy, tidy, lots of outdoor perks right on the property. Loved it! Will be back.
A fabulous get away! Had all the essentials (small fridge, coffee pot, hot plate, compostable dinnerware), AC held up on a really hot day, cool bathtub included for relaxing, and easy water access out the back of the property. Amazing commons grounds with grills, hammocks, fire pit, shade trees.... and a great little covered rooftop private dining area attached for the red cabin. We had a great time here, and in other very close waterside highlights like Krause Springs, and even took a trip to watch the bats come out in Austin. Will definitely be back, and definitely recommend it!
These Eco Cabins are incredible! We had such a relaxing weekend filled with so much positive energy. Todd was so great as well. We will definitely be returning!
I was so excited to have a weekend getaway with my husband at this eco-cabin. The details and photos made the property seem perfect for our quick trip. This place, while in a great location on the river, feels neglected. First, I get that we are outside - but the amount of spider webs in and on the dock and dock building are gross! Second, my husband was getting out of the water, using the ladder, and the ladder came off the dock - it appeared that screws that were of inadequate length were used to secure it. The owner of the property was not on site when we were there and tried to get someone out to fix it as soon as possible but it still took more than an entire day to fix the ladder. Third, it should be noted - maybe I should have mentioned it first - this eco-cabin does NOT have an attached bathroom nor a sink or any kitchen facilities inside the cabin. Despite the description saying it has pots, knives etc. - this was not the case. It is basically just a sleeping cabin - think camping with air conditioning. The bathroom is the next building over and was not the most fun journey in the middle of the night. The amenities in the cabin should read: small refrigerator, microwave, eco-friendly plates (no bowls) and utensils. There was nothing to use to grill with (thank goodness one other guests had a turner) nor anything to cook in. It is also important to note that this cabin is not secluded or an independent unit - the grounds itself are closer to commune-camping. This wasn't a bad thing - considering without the other guests I don't know how grilling could have happened - but it's something to consider. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got so I do not think we will be back.
