Stayed multiple weekends for work. One weekend can be excellent and then the next completely terrible. Room keys go missing, multiple people are given the same room and oyu are walking into a room already occupied.
WE understand that this property is under Renovation, but It was had to find someone for Clean Towels or to empty the trash in our room. What they have done is taking them in the right direction, but have a long way to go. We would return, as we feel they are trying.
We arrived at 9:30pm, and our room was not ready. I had reserved the room about 6 months ahead. We had to wait twenty minutes to get in to our room. The room wreaked of smoke. So disappointing. PLEASE CONSIDER OTHER OPTIONS.
Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Loved the microwave and mini fridge. It was perfect for our needs. It was very close to the winery where we did an event. Would definitely stay again.
Had to run water for a half hour to 1 hour to get it clear. Nobody ever in the office had to call them to check in and check out. I had to empty my own trash and call them to get trash bags.
Very interesting diamond in the rough. Outside appearance would suggest a single star. But....the staff, layout, accommodations and 'home town' comfort of the rooms WELL make up for it!
Would recommend this location to family, friends, or anyone coming to the area!
Only downside....during my stay...the steakhouse is closed for renovations. So had to drive 3 minutes to get food.
This property was very old, I think it was a extended stay lawn chairs out front and a table with an ashtray on it one resident with a very large dog and another guy was bringing in groceries from food lion I could see into his dingy room it look like he live there. The picture on the website is not clear up close that place is a real dump, my wife and I just left we didn't even check in. I just hope they use that 131$ I lost and clean that place up.
The outside area of the hotel still needs some work. They are currently in the process of updating the rooms due to new ownership. I didn't have any towels in the room, but rectified quickly. One of the employees (John) gave me a ride to and from a wedding that I was for. Everyone was nice at the hotel. No issues.
