Check in was easy. Desk clerk (owner) courteous . Room was average clean. Room was very cold. Hot water heaters appeared not to function, only heat was from a small electric baseboard heater. Extra blankets had an odd smell. Probably not used since last winter.

Nothing. Dirty showe with hair and mold. No soap for hands or shower. No shampoo. Took forever to heat up and when it did there was no way to control it.

No-frills disappointment

Room was definitely no frills -which is fine, I am not fussy- however, there were dead flies (not just 1) on the TV stand and the refrigerator was brown on the inside. Thin bedding, again no-frills, I get it. There was a gentleman in a pickup in the parking lot just staring at us, looked like a possible worker, not sure? Anyway, it made my daughter very uncomfortable. We were there about 15 minutes, then left to stay at a hotel in Rochester. I asked for a refund, but was told "no-sorry". If you are concerned about cleanliness AT ALL I would recommend avoiding.

Room was very quiet.
The motel has a good variety of cable stations.
The warped bathroom door doesn't close completely.
Location is perfect for those going to the Winona County Fair across the street.

There was a dirty mask in the trash can when I arrived. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. No one came in to refresh the room between the dates of my stay. When complaints were made; we were told they “ were going through some stuff”. I will not stay there again.
