Awesome stay!

Delightful stay, very helpful and friendly staff from reception to breakfast staff. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Rooftop pool was a great size with cosy sun beds/seating.

We had a good overall experience at Hyatt Regency Malta. The staff was friendly, and although check-in took a bit longer than expected, we appreciated the offer of complimentary drinks while we waited. The room was ready, but unfortunately, the shower toiletries were completely empty, which raised some concerns about the attention to detail from housekeeping. On the bright side, the hotel amenities were great—we really enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, and the gym, while a bit limited, was decent. Breakfast was good, though the staff could’ve been a bit more attentive during our stay. All in all, a pleasant stay with just a few areas for improvement.

Small, crowded pool and noisy area

Photos are deceiving, the pool is quite small and busy. While staff is friendly and the food at Seed is excellent the area is quite noisy and the Hyatt has a DJ some nights that does a set late. I thought booking a room on a high floor was worth the premium, it is not since there are rooftop parties in the area, including at the Hyatt itself. If you want quiet and pool time I recommend passing the hyatt and find something with a larger pool and quieter area.

Outstanding hotel, fully up to high standards of a hyatt. rooftop outdoor pool with views of ocean and a bar was wonderful. great gym and indoor pool and spa, too. great restaurant with wonderful breakfast. staff was fantastic. in the heart of a bustling part of malta, san julien, full of shops, restaurants and night life.

This was my daughter's graduation celebration It was ok for the first day then went downhill from there, she came out of her room then went back to get her bag the door would not open contacted reception and no one came until 45 minutes later. Had to sit on the floor outside the room and wait for security to come and fix it. Then today on departure woke up early to get showered the water was not working was unable To take a shower or even brush your teeth. Once called reception they said the water pipe waa cut, and offered a bottle of water to wash with. First and last time at the Hyatt Regency Malta. What i don't understand you pay money for these services and when it goes wrong they walk away without fixing it and people have paid they should be a law that looks at these shabby run-down places called hotels. It's just not right.
Sat out on the floor waiting for someone to come and open our room.
