The staff member in the office during the evening was helpful, informative and friendly. I appreciate his customer service. I chose this property because of good reviews, location and had stayed at a Sonesta in another city.
But during my first night I discovered the heating unit did not work and there were no blankets or comforters in the room. I started calling the office at 6am but there was no answer and was told later the phone system wasn't working. when I went to the office I requested another room but was told maintenance would come at 8am to verify the unit was not working but no one came until I went back to the office and discovered they had apparently forgotten. I had to request another room again before being moved so I could pack up and move to a different room and finally shower in a room with heat.This delayed my going to see my family, the reason for my trip. The manager only said so sorry and said she would see about any compensation after I requested it. But I have not heard back from her and don't expect to hear anything from the manager.
