Great View But Some Exceptions
Publié le 27 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayListing was accurate and had a gorgeous view from the deck but we ran into some issues during our stay: 1) we couldn't find the property even though we clicked the "Get Directions" directly from VRBO that dropped GPS coordinates. We were way on the other side of the mountain and it took almost an hour to find. 2) Our toilet didn't work during our stay. They refunded us a portion of the money but at the end of the day, there was no toilet for us to use for 3 days/2 nights, 3) it was pretty warm. There is a great cross breeze but given the direction of the wind, it doesn't come into the room. It's only bearable with the door open which isn't ideal at night. We asked for a fan but there was only 1 and apparently other guests had it.

Unfortunately, we were not at Treetops during your stay.
1) I have always provided detailed and accurate directions on our website. I have also now included them in the VRBO Welcome Guide so that they will be sent to future VRBO guests. Unfortunately, Google maps is not entirely accurate in our part of Grenada. GPS is probably not entirely reliable either. In the future, when I am corresponding with guests, I will stress that they cannot rely on Google maps or GPS but should follow the directions provided.
2) I am sorry that the toilet was not working properly. When our housekeeper called to inform me of this, I told her to hire a plumber as soon as possible to address the problem. The toilet has been replaced.
At the time when I sent the refund, you had only paid the first instalment, so I sent the maximum refund that was possible at that time (the rest of the first instalment went to VRBO).
