We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%

This is a very nice place to stay. If eating at the hotel choose the “pub” side of the dining room. The menu includes all the items from the “fine dining” side and even more. If you choose “fine dining” you can’t order from the “pub” menu although it is the same kitchen. The meal we had on the pub side was excellent.
