The host was great with answering all my questions about the property and check in process. We had an amazing time at this property. The bar has great drinks. Justin the bartender at the Tiki Bar made the experience excellent. We will definitely be coming back to this place next year!

Beautiful Stay at the Island Inn

We have stayed at the Island Inn many many times and this was no different than any other time. The room was great, the location is perfect, and we enjoyed our stay. The only things we noted about the room for this stay was the noisy little dehumidifier in the kitchenette area and the bathroom sink was clogged up. We did let the property manager know about the sink issue upon our departure so it can get fixed before the next guests arrive. The communication from the property management was great and they respond right away. If we come across a room ran by the same company, we would not hesitate to rent from them again!

Amazing View and Customer Service

We had an amazing time. The view was spectacular watching the sunset every single night was breathtaking. We were even visited by a sea lion up close and personal in the ocean, which was also amazing! There is plenty to do around you and amazing seafood to devour. It was a spectacular stay!

Revive and Relax at the Beach

Beautiful ocean few the minute you open the door! Corner condo with zero noise but close to all the wonderful food on Treasure Island! Owner made sure we had a full size coffee pot for our morning coffee on the patio in high top chairs to start the day with ocean waves! Excellent location for Grapefruit League Spring Training!

It was everything we expected. The view from the room is spectacular. The bed is very comfortable. We bought breakfast food and made breakfast every day in our room and ate watching the water either from breakfast bar or from the balcony. The staff at the facility are friendly and helpful. The Island Girl Tiki Bar is a nice plus and Vikki and Justin are great bartenders with a wealth of knowledge about Treasure Island. The pool is heated and is great place to hang out. There is a nice view of the beach from the Tiki Bar and the pool.

Poor upkeep lack of cleanliness

The view was beautiful and this was only good part about this trip. Although we did not expect luxury accommodations we did expect the unit to be properly maintained and clean. It was disgusting. It smelled of mold and mildew, the floors turned our feet black, the appliances, other than the new microwave were filthy. I will be making an extensive report to the owner and Island Inn manager.

Beach relaxation

Small beachfront condo perfect for a couple to relax. A beautiful 4th floor view of the Gulf of Mexico. Walk out the lobby door and you're on the beach. Great location close to many attractions, activities and restaurants.

Good stay but don’t except a lot

The room had everything they promised and the view was great. The room and bed were very comfy. They had some nice beach chairs for us to use too. The downfall for us came to the lack of amenities. We stayed 3 nights and had to conserve toilet paper towards the end of our stay. We also had to buy our own Kleenex, paper towel and coffee (one single serve packet was provided but didn’t work with the coffee pot) It also would have been nice to have a couple of rugs around because no matter how hard we tried we tracked sand in and had nothing to wipe our feet on. Also the water pressure was poor. We would not do an extended stay there again.

The location is just wonderful and the sunsets are gorgeous! One thing that would be nice is if they provided more towels and bedding as we were here two weeks and only three bath towels- we did end up doing all the bedding and towels halfway thru our vacation which was not a problem. The bed was a little lumpy and could use a new mattress. Otherwise we really did love our stay here at Island Inn

Great View and comfortable unit

Overall good experience. We had the usual minor problems as with any vacation rental but nothing major. The view is great and the water is not far from the building unlike locations to the north. Parking can be a problem - there is a parking lot across the busy street for overflow. The only chairs are straight back kitchen type, so the only other place to sit is on the bed. Bed is worn and probably should be replaced. I would go back again for the price.

We love the Island Inn location. However, after this stay we know that all the suites are NOT equal. The room this time was literally falling apart. I wanted to sweep sand off the floor and went under cabinets to be thorough and the trim and base of just about everywhere is crumbling, I assume from moisture but its pretty bad. The bed was like sleeping on a mattress stuffed with blankets, very lumpy! Neither of us slept through the night the entire week. Wheter you go for rest or play, the ONE thing you need is sleep!! You cannot kerp the water in shower and bathroom floor always got wet despite my creativity. I dif not reach out over that becaise we had already had an issue with shower brinh clogged and I did not want to spend my time dealing with issues. I have no idea how to avoid this in the future being at the mercy of well taken pictures and a description online but will try to figure that out. Great location and beautiful sinsets was the brst part.

Cut short by Hurricane Ian

So just to say this upfront, we only got to stay at this property one night out of a three-night stay, due to a mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Ian. I'll address the cleanliness of the property first. It definitely could have used a good deep cleaning. The kitchen was pretty dusty and the dishes in the cabinets were not well washed (I know as a guest you are supposed to clean them before you leave if you used them, but I still feel like this should be checked by the staff before another guest comes). There was also a red substance on one of the walls near the small two-person table that we cleaned off. It looked to be some kind of strawberry-based substance. Next, I would like to address the communication of the property management team. When we first checked in, the front desk people (not associated with iTrip) were not super friendly to us and clearly were annoyed that we rented through VRBO instead of them. They said if you need anything, not to bother contacting them, and only go through iTrip. Okay, I understand they don't handle this listing, but just be a little nicer about it. Secondly, we received an email from iTrip on Monday giving us a heads-up that we would have to evacuate by Tuesday. We made all of our arrangements based on that email and heard nothing else. However on Monday at 5:30 pm, we finally received a call from the actual front desk of the condo wanting to know why we hadn't checked out when we were supposed to leave by 6:00 pm that day. We had 30 minutes notice to evacuate the condo. I grew up on the Texas coast and understand hurricane conditions rapidly change and so does the evacuation status, however, iTrip never contacted us. I called and emailed them, but didn't hear back for a few hours. They said they didn't know either, but the front desk team told us they had contacted all property managers earlier that day and let them know. The front desk people were upset with us and wanted us to leave ASAP. I believe we should have been informed sooner by both iTrip and the actual front desk. However, the good things about this condo are the location and the view! It is a beautiful place and you are right on the beach. There is a nice area to relax and you can rent out chairs in front. The chairs on the patio at the condo are great and perfect to watch the sunset.

Not the dream vacation we hoped for...

When we arrived property didn't appear to have been cleaned well. Dirt on the floors, wall had dried food near the tv, musty, mildewy smell permeated everything, broken floor tile near entrance; bathroom doorjamb had rust/rot. Property is in need of a really good cleaning and refreshing. The location of the property is very good, no complaints there. Pool was very nice and there is plenty of parking on property and across the street.
