Perfect Vacation

This property is brand new, grounds are kept nicely and every room faces the gulf. We had a standard suite that had a generously sized bathroom, microwave, sink, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. The balcony was equipped with two chairs and a small table and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the beautiful views and sunset. Each day at around 3:00 they put fresh baked cookies in the pantry on each floor. Cookies were very good. The pantry also provides mini bags of ice that can be kept in the freezer in your room. Pantry had fresh fruit everyday as well as a game closet. We arrived well before check-in but our room was ready and we were allowed to check in. We had a late flight home and they gave us late checkout at 1:00. Very accommodating. Every person we interacted with was pleasant, helpful and appear to be genuinely happy with the their jobs. The sister property has an awesome patio, The Sand Bar with gulf front seating and amazing sunsets. That is a must visit. Pool service was consistent. Note about pool - the pool is completely shaded until 11:15AM. Not a big deal we just moved around. The property was at a low occupancy so pool chairs were plentiful. Clearwater Beach was an amazing place to spend a week as a couple just relaxing and Opal Sol is a resort I would return to.

The resort was clean, the rooms were beautiful and the kitchenette was unexpected. My room had a beautiful view of the beach. The dining options were great and I loved that we could walk through the breezeway to Opal Sands and use their accommodations and restaurants as well. The only negative is there is no private beach so be prepared to pay for your own chair and umbrella at the public beach. The public beach is just across the street which is very convenient. I would recommend and rebook if I’m ever in the area again.
