New cottage with fantastic views of Lake Mjøsa. We have spent 20 years planning - now we have finally built our dream country house. In 1997 we were looking for a country house for a maximum of 1 hour from Oslo. We put the compass down in the map, and there Mjøsa's southern tip appeared. But the area was not regulated for cabin construction, so the first thing we did was to re-regulate the area - today called Mjøsli

The home is built in natural materials, with eg traditional exclusive wooden roof, non-toxic paint and interior, has its own well for water etc.

The area has 180km of forest roads, ideal for skiing, cycling and mountain hiking. There are several berths tourist cabins and berths in the area, for rent or for catering. The area (rasa.no) is widely known for having Norway's most varied flora - with a lot of wilderness. It is almost impossible to go for a walk without encountering animals such as elk, deer, deer, fox, lynx, bear, hare, tiur, grouse etc. There are very good fishing opportunities for trout, perch, pike etc. in Ottsjøen and Mjøsa - only 3km from the property. Mjøsa (v Morskogen station), Bergsjøen and Granerudsjøen have great opportunities for adapted swimming - located only 3-5 km from the property.
