Luxurious Cabin Across From The Red River Gorge, In The Natural Bridge Area


For that “treat yourself to luxury” vacation experience come visit the Cedar Place log cabin. At 2600 sq ft, one of the largest log cabins in all of Red River Gorge/Natural Bridge area, this cabin offers it all: 4 person hot tub, regulation size pool table, satellite tv with all movie and sports channels, high speed internet, king beds in all BR, 3 bathrooms, 3 tv’s throughout the house, central AC. This magnificent log home sits on 2.5 acres overlooking a mountain valley view. Home has 2 decks to sit out and enjoy the views. Home has all modern appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Cedar Palace has 4- BR and 3 full baths. The master BR has a king bed, 2nd BR has a king bed, loft BR has a California king bed (can be made private with a curtain), and a queen futon. The private downstairs den has a kitchen area, living area, and BR with a king bed. The house has 3 futons allowing up to a maximum of 14 people in the home. You will not find a better gem in all of eastern Kentucky. Oh, did I mention we have wireless high-speed DSL for those who just want to relax after a long day of hiking?

The cabin was well located. I enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and overall atmosphere. The driveway was steep but nothing my truck could not handle. Nothing fancy but neither am I.

The host Jim is very responsive for any questions or needs before and during your stay. The cabin was clean and had good sleeping space for our family of 6 adults and 5 children. The hot tub was a great amenity as it was too cold to do much outside otherwise. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed for our Thanksgiving meal.

Very roomy and clean. Had everything we needed and everything was in decent working order. Had 12 people and most were comfortable with arrangements and couldn't beat the price for number of people. One of our people had left behind a momento tumbler and VRBO has worked with us to get it back. They really appreciated it! Would stay here again! Thank You!

GS Red River Gorge

Loved the cabin. Sufficient number of bathrooms and beds. Sufficient number of plates, utensils, and kitchen towels. Loved having the crockpot. Pool table got a lot of use. I would recommend larger bath towels and a couple additional pillows for the futons.

Natural Bridge getaway

House was great. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our 10 people. We put the kids in the lower level while the adults had the upper 2 levels for sleeping. Pool table was a nice extra.House was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook oit meals. Gas grill was nice also.Getting to the house was interesting. Road was steep, either need to back into drive or go up narrow road to turn around to get up driveway.

Really nice cabin, excellent location.

Perfect location close to everything in the red river Gorge. The owner is delightful, and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Fair warning, the driveway is a bit of a challenge, but I got pretty good at backing down it after some practice. Great place for family to stay, plenty of room for everybody.

Great place to stay while hiking

Must back in or out of the driveway with trees on one side and a dropoff on the other. Once you get to the cabin, it is great! Hot tub was an added plus. Would definitely stay again. Had everything we needed except ice. Owner stayed in touch, easy checkout.

To a jeep ride down to cabin. Went and done some riding and sightseeing. Done some mild trails. Shot some pool. Hung out on the deck. Was a great place to stay.

Was a great place just a few things to make it better for longer stays. Invest in steak knives ( I grilled 5 20oz Ribeyes and only had 2 total ). Place was a little dirty might want to clean all the windows inside and out and rake up cobwebs. Tv in giant living room was small for the seating privilege.
