Property was exactly as advertised..no surprises. Not very big...although worked great for two adults and two kids. Older, if not original finishes, furniture and appliances...but exactly what we expected for the price. Good value for the price. Clean and comfortable. Easy check-in...no hassle check-out. We typically try to stay at nicer places (and by 'nicer' just mean 'newer')...but for a last minute, low money deal...this worked very well.
The best thing about this condo is the location to the ski slopes, literally it is steps to start skiing.
Now there are a lot of cons. The furniture and kitchen is completely outdated. The stove had half the burners that didn't even work. The shower head barely sprayed water out, and the tub was so slippery I almost fell. There were no instructions on how to use the TV, I had to plug in wires that weren't even plugged in. Usually there is a book with how to's. To get to the condo you have to take the elevator down 2 floors, go back outside, then down a series of steps.
We have stayed in the same complex, paid the same amount of money, and had a beautiful condo with everything working.
To get to unit, you must go outside thru multiple doors and traverse snowy and icy steps over multiple levels. This was not disclosed beforehand and was dangerous for getting luggage to unit. Also, to get thru the doors, you need a key. When checking out, the key no longer worked, so process of decamping was very difficult. The hot tub was frothy, smelled, and murky. When I called, management was defensive rather than apologetic. Total fees for unit were not disclosed until checkout. Will not use this property management company again.
Points forts : Communication, emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce.
Small yet functional, kind of dirty
We had a good stay at Steamboat with this rental. They aren't kidding about ski-in-ski-out. However, there was no information provided that there was a different address (about a 4 min drive away and we arrived at 10:30pm and just wanted to go to sleep) that we needed to check-in to even though I asked through the app to make sure (no response on that question). We used the pullout couch and there was mac-and-cheese spilled under the coffee table (ew). The appliances are older and so is the unit in general but it gets the job done since you're outside of the unit except for sleeping really. Also my key card stopped working while packing the car which was a huge bummer but luckily the other keys worked once they realized I was locked outside of the main building.
Definitely a cozy 1-bdrm, ideal for a family with no more than 2 children. Could use a door mat inside the condo. I used a sled to catch our wet boots, gloves, helmets.

My son and I had a wonderful experience! Everything was super convenient: shuttle service was always prompt, lovely and comfortable condo and best of all ski in/out. We flew into Steamboat Springs and did not need to rent a car! I highly recommend the complimentary ski mountain tours and if you are over 50, the Masterâs tour. We have Ikon passes and will definitely return next year!!

We were pleased with the location and it was a true ski in/ski out. There were three of us and think four would be the limit given the size and one small bathroom. Access to this unit is from outside. You go through the main condo building, down the elevator and then outside and down a few more steps. Depending on weather, that could be tricky, but we had no problem since the outside steps were clear and dry. It's maybe a little less private with skiers going back and forth by the front door. There is a close-by fire pit which was nice and a little patio with two chairs. The ski storage in the unit is convenient. The main drawback is that the unit is tired and worn (both furniture and building basics such as bathroom) and could use an update. In fairness this seems to be reflected in the price. But everything worked and was adequately stocked with towels, blankets, etc. The kitchen was serviceable. Fireplace and TV (Dish) were good. My husband thought the bed was too soft but I thought it fine. The sofa bed was OK for a sofa bed. Note: There was a damp spot that didn't go away in the hallway between the kitchen and the bathroom. We originally thought that maybe the carpet was freshly cleaned and it just hadn't completely dried. I reported it to the management company when we left and only mention it here to make sure it was investigated. It didn't cause us any problems. All in all, this was a good choice for its location and true ski in/ski out attribute!
