Reserved this stay for my daughter and son-in-law for their mini-honeymoon. They absolutely loved the room, resort and area attractions for a great Fall foliage experience. My daughter said the cleanliness of the room as well as the privacy of balcony made the experience and were one of many reasons to rebook for another stay in the future. The communication about the stay pre-check in, during and post-check-out was phenomenal and very informative. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you!

Great view from the 5th floor.

I've stayed at the Lodge many times, but this was the first time not booking directly through the resort as I wanted to be on the 5th floor. The room was very nice and clean and being on the 5th floors the ceilings were vaulted which was a nice bonus. When we got to our room there were no patio chairs on the deck. I texted the manager who responded back within minutes and got the hotel to send up chairs within 10 minutes! I was also worried that this room would not have a roof overhang to provide shelter from the rain if needed. I was very pleasantly surprised that the overhang is quite large and provided very good rain coverage. The only real difference between this room and booking directly through the resort would be the in room decorations, furniture, toiletries, etc. This room was much more beige and natural compared to the standard decor. The moose antlers were a nice touch, but other than that it felt very "Ramor and Flanagan" upscale, not very much like a lodge/alpine chalet. I much more preferred the typical armour, head board, bed runner, etc in the resort decorated rooms.I was also disappointed that the provided robes were not the ultra plush and cozy ones found in the standard rooms and in the spa at the lodge. Tl;dr5th floor views were great. But the decor and vibe in the rooms booked through/decorated by the lodge is better.

Great place..

The place was very clean. The views were outstanding of the mountains. Very efficient use of space for this suite. Everything worked great there were no issues. All the information was texted to us in advance for check in and check out. The compound really has everything you need, however, I strongly recommend visiting all of the places in Stowe. The restaurants are fantastic. We were there during the off-season, so reservations were not necessary. The nearby Matterhorn restaurant was great. We liked idle time brewery if you’re into craft beers. we went to the Avon Trapp bier house. We thought it was overrated. We were served a stale freezer burned pretzel. There are many other places that are better to eat.

Nice stay for fall foliage trip

Communication for check in and check out was done via text and was straightforward. Physical check in was at the Lodge front desk, and luggage service was available. The room overlooks Hourglass Road, and had a great east facing view of the mountain. Self parking is convenient and close, as the parking lot is adjacent to the Spruce Peak Arts center. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower and bathtub were in good condition. Keuring machine and pods were available. This unit is a great value compared to the prices offered to Hyatt guests.

Absolutely Wonderful

This is one of the best vacations my boyfriend and I have ever taken. The room was spotless with lovely bath products (I always bring my own) but used them as they were amazing. We are already looking to plan our next stay at this wonderful resort. The room was beautiful with fireplace and spacious balcony to enjoy the sunrise while having our morning coffee. The pool, restaurants and staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was top notch! Thanks a million for one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken.

Summer Getaway!

The Lodge at Spruce Peak never disappoints for a summer weekend getaway. Check in is always a breeze and the new parking garage was a much needed addition. Dinner at Tipsy Trout was delicious. Looking forward to returning later this year.

Excellent Stay at Spruce Peak Lodge

The unit was exactly as advertised and well appointed, and did feel a bit larger than the other studio units that we had previously stayed in (possibly because of the vaulted ceilings). The view was nice, this unit looks out towards the village over the cul de sac by the rear entrance, but still provided a great view. No issues with check-in, and overall we enjoyed our stay with our family of 4.

Beautiful unit

Stowe in the summer did not disappoint! Lovely unit and great views! Only downside was the entrance closest to the unit was unavailable all week due to construction so the walk from the outside to the unit was quite long.
