There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. A terrace, tour/ticket assistance, and a garden are also featured at The Swans Nest Hotel. For a fee, parking is available.
This 4-star Stratford-upon-Avon hotel is smoke free.
I was really disappointed to see that the disabled car parking spaces have been prioritised for EV charging. There are now 4 EV charging points and no disability bays. Absolutely backward decision which will make it difficult for customers with a Blue Badge to stay at this hotel. Needless to say none of the charging points were being used during our stay.
Unfortunately the bedroom carpet in room 1 was worn and consequently not very inviting whatsoever. Then into the wet room where the old floor tiles appeared dirty - unless that is the aggregate in the tile since it was possibly so long ago that the tiles were installed!?? Again this contributed to a poor room appearance.
The bed was nicely decorated with pillows and cushions and was comfortable.
Didnât use the tea & coffee facilities nor the fridge.
Unfortunately encountered a noisy neighbour in room 3 whom had their TV on at a high level even at 0100 in the morning, this necessitated a walk to reception to raise a complaint about this matter. The receptionist assisted in this, the neighbour being asked to turn said tv off. ( it took him 2 minutes of door knocking on room 3 to alert the neighbour to their inconsiderate behaviour. Not a fault of the hotel but none the less a bad experience.
The hotel is very central being very close to the footbridge- accessing all areas etc. car park charge being ÂŁ10 which I suppose reasonable given the location etc.
Staff were pleasant and polite.
When we arrived at check in we were upgraded , the young woman working was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful .
Recommended a good restaurant which we received a 10% discount ! Even better .
Hotel was very well situated and accommodating.
We booked Olivia, a spacious âsuiteâ with a very nice modern bathroom - but the rest of the hotel desperately needs upgrading. The restaurant is dowdy and dark. Breakfast was ok but lacked style. Wouldnât return.
We were upgraded to a suite, which is very tastefully decorated. The room has a lot of characters, and the location is just a short stroll to twon centre.
