Charmant, féerique au coeur de la ville.

Petit déjeuner complet impeccable avec des produits du terroir de grande qualité et tout ça dans une salle adorable exhumant l’atmosphère Shakespearienne à 100%. Terrasse fleurie comme dans un conte de fée et très bien entretenue ( un petit jardin anglais au coeur de la ville ). Seule critique: l’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas depuis quelques semaines, mais ce défaut a été compensé par une boisson au choix dans le bar. Le vin blanc était d’ailleurs délicieux.

Perfect for sightseeing in Stratford.
Publié le 19 août 2015 sur HotelsVery pleasantly suurprised by this lovely hotel in the center of Stratford, 2 minutes from the pedestrian streets and 10 minutes from the river and the theater. The rooms were very well appointed and we were lucky enough to have found a spot in the parking lot just behind the hotel. The 15th century building is charming.

Very nice property with lovely staff. The tiles in my shower area needed some attention which I pointed out Friday morning and it was sorted Saturday morning. Although sorted, still not the standard of a 4 star hotel. Apart from it was a very comfortable stay and I would book it again if I ever back down that way.

Thank you, James, for your review. I am pleased that some temporary action was sorted to immediately sort out the issue you experienced. We are fortunate to have a full time maintenance team working at our hotel so any snagging that is pointed out is then put forward for action, and if guests are present, a temporary fix is usually made in order to give the least amount of disruption. We are delighted that you will rebook if in the area. We value our loyal guests and look forward to welcoming you back.

Not worth £200 a night...

I booked it mainly due to location which was great and the fact they had continental breakfast. Sadly continental it was not. It was extremely poor. Ive been to many hotels across the uk and world for less money where breakfasts were out of this world. This was not one of them...
Zero choice of foods. No butter. Had to ask for it, had to ask for salt and pepper. No cheese available, had to ask for that too...
Eggs benedict that we ordered look so extremely poor, the presentation was just awful. It reaply does not cost a lot to garnish and add some salad/veggies with it. Eggs served on top of a packaged ham...
The room itself was comfortable and provided body wash and hair products were great. But for that price i would definitely not stay again...

Great stay highly recommend!

Historic pub/ hotel
Publié le 7 mars 2024 sur HotelsHistoric pub/ hotel in heart of Stratford on Avon. Great breakfast, newly refurbished rooms with real milk, cafetière and ground coffee. Floors creak a bit but it’s 500 years old!
