Not as advertised. Retreat, not a hotel, villa.
Publié le 1 janv. 2020 sur HotelsReally disappointed given the reviews. Might be the nature of the property being primarily a retreat. So if your not up to vegetarian, limited amenities, steer clear. Staff were fantastic , even helped me with local shuttle, thanks, but had the feeling that if you weren't there on some healing, life altering mission, you didn't fit in.
** it was not listed in the listing that there are no tvs, or smoking. The rooms are basic, not 4 star. Saggy soft bed hurt the back.
30 nights in Bali, and had not come across that .
Food was good, but be prepared for for basic attempts at vegan recipes. Had many better in Bali.
When you are out of the room , expect bugs. There was rarely a moment i didn't have flies or ants pestering me. Rats around as well. The sound track playing in the main area consists of possibly 3 songs, really?
Some prices such as transport to airport are in usd??? Please, i am in Bali not the us. And the rate was 4 times or more going rates. They claim it is to support local, but that premium is suspicios. My ride share driver was happy, and i could tip him extra to help him out if it went well, which i did and he was's grateful. This leads to helping them improve, incentives, not handovers.
The massage i had was phenomenal. But a little overpriced for Bali standards.
