Set in 12 acres of private grounds, backdropped by woodlands and overlooking Oxwich Bay, this cottage is a fantastic choice for a family or a group of friends who wish to explore Gower. It's one of a small collection of brand-new, luxury holiday cottages and apartments and the attention to detail is incredible. Think state-of-the art kitchens with wine coolers, to cosy flame-effect fires and handcrafted Welsh blankets on the beds. This is the kind of place where you will watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, enjoy days walking on the beach or surfing, then spend evenings in sumptuous comfort. You can even book the services of a private chef for the ultimate luxury.
The space
This detached, contemporary cottage has a modern and stylish decor with a vibrant colour scheme for an elegant, grown-up feel. There are high quality fixtures and furnishings throughout, while individual touches include art by local Welsh artists. There's WiFi too.
The cottage has been designed to take full advantage of the coastal beauty of the Gower Peninsula. That's why the main living, which is open-plan, is on the first floor. Comprising the lounge, dining and kitchen spaces, the living area boasts spectacular views across farmland to the bay. It opens out onto a covered terrace with seating where the views get even better.
The living area has comfy sofa seating, a reading chair, a wall-mounted Smart TV and a feature fire, as well as a dining booth with a bench and built-in seating. There's also a modern kitchen space with an island to keep the cook in your group company. There's all the equipment you could need to self-cater with ease too, including an electric oven and induction hob, a microwave, a fridge, a separate drinks fridge, a freezer, a coffee machine and a dishwasher.
On the ground floor, there are three king-size, double bedrooms, each with hanging and drawer space, a wall-mounted Smart TV and luxurious homely touches such as the handcrafted Welsh blankets that adorn the beds. All three bedrooms have an en-suite shower room with walk-in, rainfall shower, a sink, a WC, a shaver socket and a heated towel rail.
There is also a utility closet with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
In addition, there is a stylish outdoor shower made from copper pipes, where you can clean up before heading back indoors. There's plenty of space to dry out wetsuits and beach gear ready for the next day too.
