Positives: very well located for most sites. Good restaurants, pubs, supermarket, public transport nearby. There's a private kitchenette (if one just wants a snack or has children) and a shared laundry room. Helpful reception staff (especially Ling and Moni). Negative: Aircon is centrally controlled and can be uncomfortable. TV functionality is limited. Overall: 8.7/10

A nice hotel for the price. The location is close to the public transport. The area near the property can be busy but we did not hear anything inside the room even it was a Friday night.

The staff are outstanding, professional and friendly. Unbelievable service. I had a couple of requests (one was a bit different…didn’t think they could accommodate it) but they came through. We have a room with a view with a small kitchenette.

The location was excellent. We did have trouble finding as there is another building nearby called the Macleay. So we found it confusing. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our only complaint about our room was that the bed spread had a huge stain on. It looked like it might’ve been a coffee stain so it should’ve come out if it had been washed. Or if they couldn’t get the stain out, it should’ve been replaced. Besides that our room was clean.

Beautiful view. Older style urban hotel design with actually keys to open the doors. Nice clean rooms and comfortable bedding with enough towels and a bonus to have washcloths. However, there was no bolt lock on the room door which made me nervous. Also there was only electrical outlets ( no usb usb c plugs) so don’t forget your international wall adapter. That made it a bit inconvenient for my multiple devices. Otherwise, a good location for a long but delightful walk to the harbor.
