Bad check in experience

Posted Jan. 3, 2019 on Hotels
Really frustrating experience with checkin. They had made a mistake and checked someone in under my name already when I arrived, and then instead of explaining the situation and asking my friends and I to please wait while they sorted it out, they literally ran away without telling us anything and we had to wait for 45 minutes while they worked on it. Never once apologized or explained, just handed us the key once it was fixed. Also didn’t give us the room we had paid for, ended up with only one bed for our entire group. Was otherwise decent enough for the money and the location was pretty fun if you want to be right in the beach and bar hop.

Basic but comfortable.

The area was absolutely stunning. The resort is comfortable yet basic. The staff are helpful The rooms are large yet a little out of date and could use a bit of work. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We paid nearly £70 for one night in this hotel for a family room for 4. The check-in staff did not seem aware that we were arriving. When we eventually were served, we were shown to our room. The room contained 2 beds that were barely larger than singles. There was no window, other than one small one in the bathroom. The towels resembled 10 year old tea towels and we were only provided with 2. The taps on the bathroom sink did not work. The toilet seat was cracked and the fridge did not work. I would seriously not recommend this establishment to anyone at this rate and believe we were mid-sold. I would like Expedia to consider a full refund and suggest they consider whether to retract their contract with this establishment and await a response from them.

Kids at the control

I had to reset the ac 2 myself. The day I do ask for service in the room I come back and the act won’t work. If you have a problem after 10:00 pm forget it nobody is there except a security guard that he can tell you I sorry the worst place I have ever stayed at in the Philippines and the staff never smiled if you had a problem it seem like you were inconvincing them they were always looking like they were watching a movie behind the counter.

In dire need of renovation

Posted Jan. 8, 2018 on Expedia
Our can driver mentioned that this resort is one of the very first resorts in Alona beach. That didnt sound so encouraging because that means the resort is already too old and true enough, the buidling, rooms and resort in general look too old. The rooms smells much like a hospital room, the bedsheets are too thin and rough on the skin. There were only two pillows and even if we asked for additional pillows, they didnt give any. The towels looked just as old as the building. The bathroom fortunately looked clean but shower was barely working, door isnt properly working, no toiletries and even had to ask for tissue at the frontdesk. The resort is not well-maintained. It should not even be called a resort! Even the stairs leading up to the rooms are so dirty. The rooms near the pool looks abandoned but those rooms still have the photos in expedia page. For the price paid for two chateau rooms, it is just not worth it. You could find a lot of other places to stay in Panglao that are well worth your money. Stay out of this place!

Old hotel by the beach

Posted Feb. 6, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: Location.
Cons: Interior of the hotel, road leading to, interconnectivity.
Location: Good location--jump-of point for island-hopping and close to beach attractions.
The staff was good but the rooms were quite old. Definitely needs refurbishing. Road leading to the hotel was really rough bu the location (beach front) is superb. We had to ask for everything--bathroom tissue, toiletries, glasses, etc. WiFi is only available at the reception.

Отель для дайверов.

Posted Oct. 13, 2018 on Hotels
