This house is in an amazing neighborhood but it needs a lot of love including cleanliness, child safety adjustments, and basic supplies. I did love the dining room table and the common area and kitchen were mostly comfortable for a group setting.
The living room of the house is beautiful, but the layout of the house is not, the Master Room is on the main floor and the other two rooms were on the lower level where only through them we can access the Patio,
There is not king size bed, the Light and bubbles in the jacuzzi did not work, towels were limited to one per person in addition to the excessively use as well as the bed sheets.
The management office was very diligent with most of our requests.
The property is cute place to stay with plenty of space and a nice backyard with hot tub. Only downside was the lack of glassware and working coffee pot.
For the price that we paid for this house, we've had better value around Tahoe during the holidays. Simply put, the house was not clean (to the point of unhygienic), not adequately equipped, and the property management was hard to get a hold of for check-in issues.
The house was simply not clean, which, for the price we paid ($$$) is just not okay. It looked okay upon entering, but we stayed for 4 nights, and it became quickly evident that this house desperately needed a deep clean. There was copious dust in all bedrooms and living room, which caused allergy symptoms for a few members of our group, trash had not been removed (3 huge bags left in the garage, which we had to take out ourselves), there were food remnants under couch cushions and under the couches (gross), a coffee machine with a broken/cracked carafe that resulted in the unpleasant surprise of coffee leaking everywhere, and used, crumpled up tissues with mystery fluids found in one of the beds (really gross).
When we tried to contact property management about checking in during crazy Tahoe snow days, it was hard to reach them and we had to wait until someone called us back to be able to confirm even our travel plans. We had to call them multiple times to even get our check in code. On getting to the house, there were NO basic supplies like paper towels, garbage bags, or detergent. There was only a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. On calling property management, they said that in the rental agreement, they state that we have to provide for ourselves for more than 2 days. This is really bizarre - we've never had to do this for any other Tahoe stay, and in general, we've never showed up to a house with no basic supplies like garbage bags even. They eventually got us a starter pack of supplies at the very end of the next day.
The saving grace of the house is that it's in a great neighborhood with a local (albeit small) market nearby. But net-net - we would not stay at this rental property again (especially at peak holiday pricing), nor would we recommend this particular property management company.
Enjoyed the property just a couple of hiccups one must always wonder when there is a plunger located right next to the master bathroom toilet
We had to toilet back ups of which we had to use the plunger which was not extremely pleasant
Other than that I look forward to renting it again thank you!!
