Single storey villa in Kamares Village, Tala, Paphos with private pool

The villa is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within the Kamares development, still regarded as one of the premier residential areas in the area, as all the villas are individual and there are not the straight rows of identical homes you can find elsewhere. The accommodation comprises three double bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) with two bathrooms, one en-suite. The living room and dining area are open plan with an archway to the kitchen. Outside there is a terrace accessible from the living room and all bedrooms, with a private pool (8x4m), an outdoor dining area and BBQ with views to the coast. Guests may also use the Kamares Club, about 15 minutes walk, which has a large pool, tennis courts, bar, restaurant and Wi-Fi, with a book and video library on Wednesdays (check with reception).

NB:
A new villa is being built next door and the work has started to encroach on my property. I will attempt to achieve an acceptable outcome but in the meantime there is the possibility of workmen disrupting the normally peaceful enjoyment of the villa. For this reason, the price is heavily discounted until the villa is completed and/or the situation is finalised.


Contact Languages: Although I have indicated I can deal with French, German and Italian, I must ask you to use email only for these as I am not fluent enough for telephone enquiries. Any email replies will be in English with my attempt at translation into your language.

Golf Courses: There are four courses within 40 minutes drive. Minthis Hills, Tsada is the closest and shares common management with Secret Valley, so it is possible to get vouchers for play at both courses. Aphrodite Hills is on the way to Pissouri and is next to Secret Valley but is independent. The Elea, near Yeroskipou is a new course .designed by Sir Nick Faldo

Perfect villa to discover Cyprus with family

We spent 2 weeks with the family (2 adults and 3 children aged 10, 8 and 4) in this beautiful villa. This house is fully equipped and air-conditioned with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a large living room. The terraces are large and well shaded. And above all a magnificent swimming pool with a half shallow pool where our 4 year old daughter was safe. The pool is maintained several times a week. The villa is very well located in a quiet area 5 minutes from the centre of Tala (small supermarket and some restaurants) and 15 minutes from Paphos and all its beaches and activities. There is a splendid view of the sunset over the sea. Finally, the location is ideal for exploring the wonderful island of Cyprus: in less than an hour's drive you can go on a safari on the Akamas Peninsula, hike in the Troodos Mountains or explore the dream beaches around the Aphrodite Rock. Before the stay, we received many emails from Ian the owner to help us prepare our stay. We encountered a small problem in the villa but the property management team was easily reachable and helped us very quickly. All this made our stay one of our best family holidays and we can only recommend this beautiful house for a great time.

We spent real good time in this villa, the house is very well equipped and located in a quiet area, the view over the sea is so pleasant, looking at sunset and having diner on the terrace was really enjoyable, the pool is perfect and the garden beautiful. We hope to have a chance coming back!

An extremely well equipped villa, private and in a quiet area. Excellent pool and outdoor BBQ area. The veranda offered shade from the hot sun and was a lovely place to sit and eat or have a drink or two. The BBQ could benefit from some new tongs 😊. Beds were comfortable and aircon worked fine. Ample room for parking the car. Highly recommend a car for getting around as most restaurants or shops are not within walking distance. Lovely views across the land and down to the sea. Very quiet at night. The building work next door had no impact on out stay with minimal work being carried out by the polite and courteous builders. All in all an excellent villa and would definitely stay at this villa again

An absolutely stunning property that had everything we required for a comfortable stay.Ongoing works next door were minimal and did not have any audible or visible impact on us on the two days they were working .Ian was an extremely responsive and helpful host and answered any questions we had promptly.The photos are accurate but probably don’t quite do justice to just how lovely the property is.If we ever visit the area again in the future we wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else.

We've just returned from a wonderful relaxing stay at this beautiful villa. The pool area and view are stunning and although a car is a must you are just a short drive away from the many places to visit.Communication with Ian was excellent from the time of booking and throughout and Ian was very honest about the building work taking place next door. The work is barely noticeable with 2 friendly and courteous workers who we only saw twice during the whole stay. Highly recommend this villa

Perfect family break

We’ve just returned from a 10 night break and have had a super time. The villa worked perfectly for us as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, with plenty of space to spend time together and apart. The pool area is a really good size with sunbeds and parasols. The area itself was peaceful, and although a bit of building work was being done in the area it caused us no bother. The kitchen was well equipped and a lovely welcome pack of milk, bread, cheese etc was waiting for us when we arrived. Communication with the owner was spot on and any questions were answered promptly.

Great Pool area

We had everything we needed. The pool area was lovely. Villa in a great location. The estate was quiet and easy to find. Pool cleaned twice during our stay. There was bread, milk, tea, juice and coffee when we arrived. Ian was very helpful before our stay and responded quickly to our questions. Would definitely go back!!

just great

we spent 3 weeks here, and were very happy. the pool was brand new, the garden was beautiful, lots of sun and shade. location was just as described, near the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. the kitchen was a bit dated and in my opinion needs a upgrade. aircondition was very welcome in th time we stayed. wifi was good. contact whit Ian was very good and fast, and he helpt us whit some small problems. overall we just have a great time.

Second time at this villa

This was our second visit to this particular villa and our fourth time on the same estate. The villa is in an excellent location, especially in the estate. Easy to find and not too far into the hills. Since our last visit there were several improvements. Although our previous visit was perfect, the improvements definitely improve the experience. This time the family joined us and we’re equally impressed by the standard of the villa. We could not recommend this particular villa more highly. It has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday. Easy to book and use as well as find. And the morning views are fantastic.

Spacious Villa with excellent views

This was one of the bigger villas we've stayed in on holidays to Cyprus. It was well appointed and a great location with excellent sea views. No issue finding it, we pin dropped it on Google maps and it was a cinch. We've stayed in tala before so knew where the closest shops and village centre are (5 min drive) Be warned, going in the summer you might not expect the sounds of nature to be as loud as the cicadas were!! Apparently they even louder in the heat and it was very hot! We weren't expecting it but that did not detract from the villa or the lovely pool which we used a lot! There was nothing in the owner instructions about when pool cleaner or house cleaner would show up and the house cleaner came once when we were out and we weren't expecting them, so a little more forewarning would be nice. Possibly also a few more bits in the kitchen like large serving bowls would have been helpful but we made do. Overall highly recommended villa for any family holiday.

Excellent location and great facilities. Outside area very spacious, especially around the pool.

The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Especially under the circumstances, we had to revise dates twice due to Covid. Original date was July 2019. There were no issues with the property, and the check in guide was very comprehensive. There were essentials in the fridge for arrival, which was very welcome due to a late arrival. All in all I can highly reccommend this property.

The garden is way bigger than in the pictures

Great, quiet place for a family holiday. Also a good place to work remotely (internet speed is not the greatest but just enough to work: 12-16Mb/s). Really loved the garden with so much plants and flowers - felt like heaven. The location requires a car to get around. Ian was super responsive to sort out the internet issues we faced at the check-in day. The only downside was the very hot weather. Be advised to travel in June or September-October. Else you'll not be able to do much during the day (11-17) as the sun will scorch you.

Eine der schönsten UnterkĂŒnfte, die wir je hatten!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Feriendomizil sehr genossen (2 Wochen im Juli/August 2020). Es war genau das richtige fĂŒr uns! Das Anwesen sieht genauso aus, wie auf den Fotos und die Aussicht ist sogar noch wundervoller, wie ich finde. Wir haben diese freie Sicht sehr genossen und abends auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzen und dem Sonnenuntergang zusehen. TagsĂŒber ist der Pool eine herrliche Erfrischung in der Juli-Augusthitze und auch die Klimaanlage ist sehr angenehm, um es nachts etwas kĂŒhler zu haben. Die Villa liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Wohngebiet, man hört keinen StraßenlĂ€rm oder PartylĂ€rm. Dennoch ist man in wenigen Autominuten an vielen verschiedenen touristischen Zielen und anderen sehenswerten Orten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war exzellent. Er antwortet meist innerhalb weniger Minuten. Wir wĂŒrden auf jeden Fall wieder diese Villa nehmen wollen, sollten wir einmal wieder in der Gegend Urlaub machen!

A Tranquil Oasis.

We've just returned from a ten day holiday at this villa, myself, my husband and three teenagers. The outside space and pool are amazing, the area the villa is situated in is incredibly peaceful and the sunsets are amazing. The villa had everything that we needed for a lovely memorable holiday and communication with the villa owner was excellent. He responded to any queries almost immediately. You will need a car as the villa is about a 10 minute drive from the nearest beach. We spent many hours relaxing and having fun around the pool, and there are some lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance, just be aware it is very hilly. The villa was a lovely relaxing oasis and just what we were looking for. We would definitely return.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay in July 2019. Although it was very warm the villa was great with the aircon and was very comfortable. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outside pool area is brilliant, the pool is a good size, there are plenty sun loungers and the area is very private. Tala is a nice little village with good restaurants and local amenities. It is also only 15-20mins from Coral Bay and Papjos. Ian (the owner) and Management Company were both very helpful, courteous and responsive. Any questions or queries were answered immediately. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would definitely like to return in the future.

Spacious villa in a quiet and relaxing location with fantastic views down the valley and out to sea

We've been to Cyprus for many years and we found Ian's villa perfect for a quiet location but close enough to Paphos and surrounding areas if you like to get out and about. The villa is suited to a family holiday with a large outdoor area and the views are stunning. Another great holiday in Cyprus, Ian has been brilliant to deal with from the very start and it is definitely a villa that we would like to stay in again.

We are a family of 5 (2 adults - 3 children 10-15) and we loved our stay in this Villa. The outside area is perfect - the pool was nice and clean and a good size. We spent most days just messing about here. The Villa location is good too (it's in a quiet area with a similar Villas around and it felt very safe) - you do need a car but it's only 20/25mins from Paphos and the airport and a similar drive to Coral Bay. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. The Villa was nice and clean, with a welcome pack too. Cleaners came each week which was nice. There are many positives about the Villa - the only slight negative is the furniture/bathroom/kitchen is a little tired - we could see that in some of the photos and I'm so glad we decided to go ahead, because everything else was perfect (and we were either eating out or around the pool so it didn't really matter). Ian (the host) was brilliant - all instructions were clear and he was very responsive and helpful. The best host we have every had and he was very professional.

Exactly as advertised, beautiful setting with a fantastic private pool.

It was nice to arrive to a package of essential items meaning we did not have to go out and immediately start shopping. The pool was cleaned twice a week along with visits from the gardener. The villa was cleaned at the end of the first week and all the linen and towels changed. We had a couple of queries which were dealt with within a couple of hours by the local representative. It was a delightful stress free holiday and we have no trouble in recommending the villa but you will need a car to get the best advantage from both this area and all that Cyprus has to offer.

Wonderful welcome pack. Property very clean and the interim clean was excellent too. Loved the outside - beautifully landscaped and wonderful ambience. Would have helped to have had instructions for the cooker and washing machine. We did eventually work out how the cooker worked but not the power to the washing machine. All the other paper work was extremely helpful. Very efficient booking.
