From Luxury to Creepy

Premises was being renovated I think. From the lobby/entrance of the building, we had to pass dark, confusing, tight hallways to find the elevator to go up to the check in/reception area. We transferred from Crown Plaza just to spend the few hours at Royal Orchid because our flight was early the next morning. I almost regretted my decision even if my purpose was to save on the hotel. Even the way to the room was dark and scary. A positive note was the room was huge and spacious, and clean even if the design was dated. At least it had a small ref and microwave. Front office personnel was not very friendly. This should be your last choice of hotel. If you have a budget for accommodations, go for the better ones.

Escalators to the ground floor restaurants were not working so you have to walk a long ways to the elevator that goes to the ground floor. Main elevator stops at the lobby. Just an fyi, broken escalators are also stairs. Lol
