Nestled within a tranquil lake community in the Hoosier National Forest, Cabin 2 offers a cozy retreat for nature lovers. This 576 square foot haven features a queen-sized bed, a convertible sofa bed in the living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower. The cabin's living space is complemented by ample windows that frame the surrounding natural beauty. Enjoy the serenity on the 160-square-foot screened porch, complete with a large fan for those still summer days. Although close to Patoka Lake, the cabin's summer views are forest-rich.

Enjoyable

Very cute little cabin perfect for two. Tim was a great host and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay. The only thing I would say is that yes it is close to the lake but it is surrounded by woods you can't really go to the lake from the cabin. It is a great place to unplug because there is no signal or WiFi there. There are deer and rabbits everywhere so it is very serene. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Wonderful Place with a very friendly and helpful host

Location is great, and host is even better. We could not say enough nice things about Tim. He was very kind and helpful even when we had an incident at the lake that caused us to lose the key, he was very understanding and able to come let us in when we got back. If you are considering this place, we would highly recommend it. Don't pass it up.

My husband and I stayed with our dog cooper. The cabin was cute and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and kitchen/bath also well furnished. We went hiking at area trails and they were lovely. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Everything was great. Impeccably clean. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Tim is the perfect host who makes sure you have everything you need. We will be back. And if you are bringing a boat very close to a launch.

Best Friend Weekend Get-Away

Tim and Lois are wonderful, attentive hosts. The property is lovely, clean, and well maintained. Located in a quiet area on the lake, it's still nota long drive to everything you could want to do or see. This is our second stay at a Serenity cabin, and wontbe our last!

Perfect family getaway

Our stay was just what we needed for peace and quiet. The host, Tim, was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and stocked with basic needs for cooking and showering. There were some family games provided for use. No internet helped everyone to connect and enjoy eachothers company. The television picked up a few channels, however, there is a dvd player. Getting down to the lake path was tricky but driving to the lake to fish or swim isn't too far. One recommendation for visitors is bring a radio if you want music and dvd's to watch movies if you prefer. Overall, it was a nice, peaceful stay.

Short and Sweet

We had a short 3 night stay but I was fabulous! The owner was very polite and welcoming. He also gave us our privacy. The cabin is stocked with pretty much everything you need except food and personables. This made packing so easy. Ver clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
