We had such a wonderful stay at the castle hotel. The only feedback was the receptionist on check out wasn’t as friendly as the lady that had checked us in. She appeared to be confused with the communication around breakfast timings. Over all it was a wonderful stay, in the perfect location and it’s such a beautiful hotel

Special Christmas

Christmas is always particularly special at the Castle with staff having made a very special effort to make it even more special than usual. It makes an excellent place to stay, right in the middle of Taunton, for shopping with those special independent traders you won’t find elsewhere.

A most relaxed and enjoyable stay.

We had a most enjoyable stay. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. They went to a lot of trouble to find us an alternative place for dinner as they were fully booked. Also they checked our trains to make sure they were still running without being asked. This was beyond expectations. The breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and a relaxed atmosphere.

Very clean and well equipped apart from plug points Most of the plugs were round pin and not compatible with modern plugs Updating to include PowerPoints near the bedside tables would be ideal Lovely breakfast with excellent Eggs Royald
