Publié le 24 juin 2020 sur HotelsJe suis restée dans cette hôtel une seul nuit et c'était excellent, l'accueil est parfait avec des personnes gentils et chaleureux, la chambre est conforme. J'ai également fait connaissance avec le chat de l'hôtel (il est très câlin).
J'ai également testé le restaurant de l'hôtel je vous le conseille, c'est très bon.
Je retournerai dans cette hôtel pour mon prochain passage à Taupo 😁

We were pleasantly surprised overall with our stay. The exterior & grounds were ok. The room was clean and tidy. Great staff from reception to cleaners - very welcoming & friendly. The restaurant (run independently from motel) from the outside doesn’t look appealing, however once you enter it is bright, light & clean and the staff were awesome! Would come back.

The room was a little tatty, a few cobwebs around the ceiling, a loose hot tap on the sink, chipped paint, perceived as poor attention to cleanliness and maintenance to poor quality fixtures and fittings. Reasonably well located with respect to the town, on site car parking inadequate if the place is full, The uninvitingly named 'social club' which is the motel eating and drinking facility was, we thought, surprisingly good.

We booked a room for me and my misses plus our 9 year old daughter. We only stayed two nights and thought the staff were very friendly and enjoyed the hotel on the whole. Apart from the ceiling fan and the extractor fan needing a clean the room suited our needs. Would recommend.

Comfortable stay - great staff
Publié le 24 févr. 2024 sur HotelsWe had a very comfortable stay for two nights in 3 rooms for our party of 3 adult couples. Due to a glitch in the hotels.com system the hotel didn’t have a record of our booking made in July 2023 but went out of their way to allocate rooms including upgrades to our original booking. The rooms were in excellent order and we could see no sign of the tired decor mentioned in some other reviews. The common parts had good carpet and decoration. We tried the on site restaurant “social club” for evening dinner which was both good value and tasty food. We had two electric vehicles and were able to use the on site charging The hotel is located on the lake front and it was a very short walk down to the shoreline for a dip. If we are in the area again we would definitely rebook.

It is convenient but room small, very noisy from other patrons & restaurant/bar. Fan in toilet very nosey and no separate light beside that connected to the toilet fan. No air conditioning in room, opening the window increases the noise.
