we had asked for a wheelchair accessible room but when we booked in we had been allocated a 2nd floor room only accessible by stairs, when I commented and complained we were allocated a ground floor room, Very limited facilities, no dining table 1 dining chair, no toilet in the motel room, we had to go out into a public corridor and use shared facilities. not ideal when my wife is handicapped, I had to be woken in the night 3 times when she needed to access the toilet, no tea towel in the kitchen to dry the dishes, no dish mop and dish detergent almost empty.

The hotel was very clean and roomy. The bed was really comfortable and the room facilities were excellent. It was in a good location and provided lots of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This motel does have a few small signs of wear and tear, but the price compared to others in Taupo makes up for that.
Very conveniently located close to town where dinning options are. Great covered car parking .
Just a note to management, don’t replace the milk with creamer sachets, they are rubbish! You can’t have that in a cup of tea… regards.

Nice place with niche people. The bath wasn't completely cleaned when we checked in (there was hair in the shower). The worse thing was a continuous 'house crack' every so often and sometimes really loud; fortunately it would stop at night time (only hear it/woke me up once).
