Hotel bien placé et propre

Publié le 21 févr. 2024 sur HotelsThe Hotel on Devonport doesn’t seem like a hotel. The person at the desk was nice but once she gave us our key, that was it. I asked for ice and she told me I needed to go to the liquor store to buy some. There is no room service so I had to go pick up dinner. We had one of the waterfront rooms which was nice enough but the balcony looks out on construction with a small bay behind it. The hotel is also not in Taranga but in a suburb. The condos next door, on the same hall we were, had construction going on which started promptly at 8:00 am. From the description on Hotels.com, I expected a nice hotel on the harbor in the city and with the price, that should have been what I got. I do not recommend this hotel.

The team are so friendly and responsive, I felt well looked after when I stayed. The property is also smart and well designed. It was easy for us to find our way around. The room was very comfortable, in particular there was fantastic water pressure!
The location is convenient near all the shops and walking distance to the bus station.
There is construction next door to the property and our room faced it so we didn't use the balcony, but I didn't find it disrupted our sleep.
It's our second stay and I'm sure not our last.

It’s not silly money, it’s not far away from anything, the parking is great, safe and secure and the rooms are wonderful Harbour side.
