I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast and unfortunately was disappointed with the overall condition of the property. While the idea and charm of a B&B are there, the building itself is clearly run down and in need of serious renovation. The room showed visible wear, including peeling paint, outdated furniture, and fixtures that didn’t appear well maintained. Some areas felt neglected rather than “vintage,” and cleanliness was inconsistent. The bathroom especially could benefit from upgrades, as it felt old and worn rather than comfortable. The common areas had potential but felt tired and uninviting due to worn carpets and aging dĂ©cor. While the breakfast itself was acceptable, it didn’t make up for the lack of upkeep throughout the property. With proper renovations and attention to maintenance, this place could be much better. Until then, it may not meet the expectations of guests looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for bed and breakfast experience.

We stay at Churon at least a couple times a year and always find it to be on the most beautiful and scenic inns in the Temecula Wine Country. The price is reasonable compared to other local resorts and the breakfast included with the fare is always excellent. Get the eggs Benedict.

Right off the bat, the staff was amazing. We checked in on Christmas night. Front desk was polite, professional and welcoming. We even received a free bottle of wine at check in (normally receive glasses of wine, but tasting room is closed on Christmas). The room was beautiful, great view from the balcony (2nd floor), soft bed, wonderful bathroom with spa tub, separate stand up shower, and two separate sinks. Tasting room opened the next morning and offered a wonderful option for tasting flights.

The accommodations were nice. However, the bathroom situation was uncomfortable. There was only one switch for all of the lights and the fan would run continuously so if you got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, you were flooded with lights and noise from the fan Also also the lighting in the bedroom area was in adequate.
