Average stay, though resort is good, maintenance needs improvement. Restaurant is managed by average, uninterested uncaring BOYS, who are not oriented towards customer care. Food too rich, though decently priced. Menu is limited. Buffet spread ordinary. Cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. Room maintenance average, water in bathroom was not clean enough, blankets old, needs replacement. Pool is good, children enjoy. Ambience is good, Spa is good, offered good discounts..Travel to and fro is an issue. Beach is not adjacent, and is not frequented by locals, hence travelling dependent on taxis and auto who charge exorbitantly. No shop or restaurants in vicinity. If one wants spa services and serenity without much disturbance, one odd walk on beach, then may opt. For family who wants to roam around trivandrum and go to popular beaches, should think twice....

Good value adequate breakfast lovely well kept gardens and amazing staff restaurant food excellent except prices without service charges and tax is new to me in India (USA yes)the cottage spacious although in need of refurbishment. 5

Don't spoile your holiday by booking this propert

We got trapped by the last minute cheap deal however ended up wasting a precious day of our holidays. The rooms are very dirty with lots of mosquitoes and insects. Food is of very cheap quality without any flovore or test. Most of the hotel staff is not friendly and cooperative. Please do not get tricked by the edited pictures of the property shown on the travel portals.

Poor service

We reached after a bad day on 27 March, and were waiting for half an hour for someone to show us the room. No help was available. The beachview room booked hardly had any view of the beach, with the distance to the beach being 300 metres and a jungle filled of rubbish in between. Food quality was also pathetic. Expedia clients are given the worst possible service. Avoid this hotel.

Decent value but not outstanding

Basically the hotel is geared to Indian tourists, so the food is only Indian and, while satisfactory, is not really great value. The staff were all delightful but not really trained well. The pool was inviting but there were no lounge chairs or sunbeds available. It was near enough to a great beach but Kovalam itself was a rickshaw ride home at night......not expensive but some would prefer to be right in Kovalam I am sure.

Uruselt. Såg fint ut på bilderna, men rummen var under all kritik. Vi hade smuts överallt, även efter städning. Badrummet var riktigt äckligt, svartmögel o fett på väggar o i hörn. Två av rummets väggar hade stora mögelpartier. Servicen var usel. Smutsiga sängkläder o handukar som var riktigt gamla och fläckiga. Frukosten usel med riktigt smutsiga bordsdukar.Jag tog en del bilder men kunde inte bifoga dom här.

Disappointing experience

Food prices are exorbitantly high. The authorities take full advantage of the fact that the resort doesn't have good food joint nearby. The reception staffs are extremely rude. The location of the resort is also an issue as it is much inside and to get an Auto someone has to walk a kilometre, the approach road is also narrow and shady post sunset. Overall had a extremely disappointing experience. Not recommended at all.
