The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were good. The location in Tinton Falls is very convenient, being close to the parkway and Rts 35 and 36. There are nearby restaurants and stores. The reason I gave this hotel a rating of 3 rather than 5 is because as soon as we entered our room, I went to use the bathroom to find the toilet seat was about to fall off! We notified the desk and a maintenance technician arrived promptly and took care of it. Also, the clock on the nightstand was not working. The maintenance technician brought a new clock as well. The floor in the living area started to rumble and we thought there was a delivery truck or something outside. We could feel the very strong vibration even when sitting on the sofa. It went on for a while and then stopped. My husband told the desk clerk on our way out what had happened and he said it the first time he had heard of that. A housekeeper was sitting in the lobby awaiting a ride and overheard our remarks. She said it happens in a couple of the rooms above the hotel’s laundry area. This was happening every day during the day during our stay. If this happened in the evening, we would have asked to switch rooms. In addition, the switch on the tub faucet to redirect the water up to the shower could not be activated all the way so half of the water came out of the faucet rather than the shower. Although our king sized bed was comfortable, the mattress needs to be rotated occasionally!

I stayed here 3 days while voting family. Excellent location for me. I had 4 small issues with room which I reported in the morning on my way out. All issues were resolved by the time I returned. Friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed that there is no breakfast but not a big deal. They do offer coffee but the pots were not refreshed often and the tea offerings were basically nil. If they don’t offer breakfast, a robust coffee service would go a long way. I will stay here again.

We asked for the trash to be removed twice. It was not done. So we placed the trash outside our room. The trash stayed there and was still there as we checked out. The TV sound and picture were not synced correctly. We asked the desk to repair this. They said they would. Nobody showed up. The bathroom floor was sticky. As if the last time it was mopped, it was rinsed with dirty water. The coffee station had limited options. Many hotels in the area have a continental breakfast. When we went to the desk to ask for assistance the woman there ignored us, and appeared to be completing a paper form. We stood there for a while as she ignored us. My wife left. I stayed. Still no attention. Finally she left, and another worker answered our question.
