A lovely boutique style feel to the property. The rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. Great shower!! Very centrally located with easy walking distance to many attractions. Helpful and friendly staff.

Beautiful property, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars, based on my own experience. The elevator door closed on my friend, and then on myself, as we were trying to when our luggage inside. We were able to push it back open, but as I’m sure you can imagine, it was alarming. I'm stunned that a "5-star" hotel doesn't have safe elevators. Also, on night that we were there, a friend of mine had stayed ir our suite, after we had been up late, enjoying cocktails im the garden, so that she would not have to drive home. In the morning, we approached the front desk to inquire about retrieving her car. We were speaking in English, but my friend is a local Albanian. The two women at the reception desk were talking about us, under their breath, in a derogatory way, speaking Albanian. I assume they didn't realize my friend could understand them. That interaction left a sour taste in my mouth and I would be reluctant to return there. On the other hand, the service at the restaurant was excellent. One of the waiters, Dillon, spoke perfect English (& native Albanian) and was kind, accommodating, proactive, attentive, and professional. He even taught us some things about grasshoppers (!), and we left Albania with fond memories of that evening.
