This was the last APA booking out of 4 that I had been at during my 2 and a half week trip in Japan of October of this year. APA is my go-to hotel when I want to go to Japan because of how affordable and their consistency in terms of hospitality. My only criticism of this location in Roppongi is the distance it is from the JR railway. The closest train station is either shinbashi or hamamatsucho and it is a 3km walk to either one.

I wish there was a suitcase rack in a room. I found some brown specks on my sheet. What are they???? My floor was the second, when it was busy time, I wouldnโ€™t be able to get on the elevator. Wished the staircase was available.

I asked for some water at the concierge. They let me know that they give two free when you come in and nothing after that. There is NOTHING wrong about this and I was happy to go buy from the vending machine. Unfortunately, the vending machine was out of water in all 6 selections. I let them know it was out and they told me to go to the other vending machine, which was non existent. After wandering around in my slippers I came back. At this point they were extremely irritated with me, but I was not wearing shoes (just the little black slippers they have in the rooms) since I was only trying to grab some water and go back to sleep. The woman was extremely rude but begrudgingly sold me two bottles of water from the counter. Could I have done better? Yes. But I think I was treated pretty unfairly after doing my best to figure it out. The hotel was your standard APA and the experience other than this was pretty standard for an APA so nothing really to say about that. No Onsen, a pretty long walk to a subway. You could do worse but also could do a lot better.

Great value and about a few minutes walk to a couple of stations. Liked how close it was to Roppongi Hills and Akasaka. Rooms are so small which is normal in Tokyo.

Hotel has no front entrance sitting area. Room very small / compact. No space to move around. The room has an odor like urine when AC kicked in. Very unpleasant
