Checkin process was super easy and fast, it counts after a long flight and getting late at night. I think I asked for job-smoking but my room was probably a smoking room. The location was so close to the station and have restaurants everywhere nearby.

Great Location Near Ueno Station The location of this hotel was fantastic—just a 3-minute walk to Ueno Station, which made getting around Tokyo so easy. I also loved that it’s close to Ueno Zoo and the park, which was perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. While the hotel itself is a bit dated and the rooms are on the smaller side, it had everything I needed for a short stay. The in-room fridge and kettle were convenient, and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. I would definitely stay here again for the unbeatable location.

I stayed at this property recently and found it to be incredibly convenient—especially since I had to take the train multiple times. It’s very close to both Ueno Station and Keisei Ueno Station, which made getting around Tokyo much easier. That said, the property could use a bit more maintenance. The lobby wasn’t quite what I expected—it felt a little cluttered, mostly due to the large amount of luggage being stored there for guests. It didn’t feel as welcoming as it could have. The staff, however, were amazing as always. Everyone was kind, helpful, and courteous, which made a big difference in the overall experience. The rooms were very small, but they had everything I needed for a short stay. Some of the furniture felt a bit outdated, and the carpet definitely could use some attention—it didn’t feel like the cleanest. Overall, while the hotel has some areas that could be improved, the location and the wonderful staff made it a convenient and decent choice for a quick trip.

Had room 610...quiet. Room was at rear, view of a wall 4 metres away..but thats ok, aided to the quietness. Clean, with room to swing 1/2 a cat. Super close to the station and Uneo Park, fortunate to be there for the cherry blossoms yesterday 28th March.

We stayed here for two nights in February. The convenience of the location can’t really be beat, as it’s right next to Ueno Station. Here’s some pros and cons: Pros: • Super convenient • Great staff • Nice sized room (for a business hotel) • Basement restaurant breakfast was excellent. • Clean hotel • Our room had two beds, with enough space for our luggage. Cons: • There was some peeling wallpaper by the window. • The window faced a wall. • Bathroom was small, but not bad, just small. • We noticed an odd smell when we first entered, but that did vanish after opening the window and where came back, so. As far as business hotels go, this is one of the best I’ve stayed in. Yes, I’d stay here again, especially during short layovers between travel across Japan. Good hotel for the price.

Gem in Ueno

Reasonably priced and very clean hotel. Facilities are basic but staff are polite, cleaning persons are very hardworking and meticulous, and location is 2 mins away from the JR Ueno station
