Didn’t realize this was a love hotel when booking. The neighborhood and reception desk was extremely sketchy, but the room was amazing. Sauna and bath were great and the coffee & tea was delicious. The pillows were a bit flat and the condoms were too small, but there was a massage chair in the room with mood lighting & karaoke. Overall definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a cheap stay between hotels.

Wouldn't do multiple nights...
Posted Oct. 12, 2023 on HotelsI think some of the reviews on hotels.com for J-MEX are fake - I would never stay here for multiple nights again. The experience of a love hotel was cool, but not for multiple nights. Pillows/bed are not meant for a comfortable sleep, I ended up using my travel pillow but still had a sore body each morning.
That being said, the amenities were nice and the room was certainly spacious.

Beautiful love hotel tucked away on a quite side street in Shinjuku! It is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station, and also a 5 minute walk to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. The night life and dining is first rate, and the location makes it the perfect hub to be able to get anywhere in Tokyo easily by train. We've been here twice, and will definitely be back another time due to the sheer value and convenience.

Everything was great, location and amenities and staff service was very nice. It was very specious room and clean! I wish we have more time to spend inside the room such as karaoke and sauna in unit! Thank you so much!

Ensuite Jacuzzi and sauna are the best things to have after a whole day's of shopping and walking.

This place was truly amazing over. I accidentally left my shoes when leaving for Kyoto and sent a message to them asking if I could get them when I make it back to Tokyo the following week and they said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Truly amazing hospitality. Would and will be staying again in the future.

Such a lovely stay in Shinjuku. The room was clean and had everything you could possibly need. Love the little gifts. Will come back again on our next Japan trip!

The hotel had everything that I needed. If you forget anything I am sure they will have it there. The jacuzzi was amazing. My partner and I enjoyed it daily. Most staff spoke little English however they went out of their way to understand us with apps and we're very thoughtful. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Japan.
