The Granbell is a convenient Tokyo hotel to start out in Japan after arrival from overseas. It has a cafe for a quick breakfast and a roof terrace for a small dinner with a nice view. Shinjuku is busy walkable place with many restaurants, shops and a big railway/subway station close by from where one conveniently can reach every corner of Tokyo.

Good walking distance from the main tourist spots of Shinjuku. Amenities readily available in room. Staff was polite and helpful.

Loved this location. I had a wonderful view of Shinjuku and the room was comfortable and perfectly sized for me. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooftop bar is a great experience. Don't be deterred by it's location, as some reviews allude to. It is close to the adult entertainment area, but I felt perfectly safe walking alone at all times of day/night. Close to Golden Gai, which was perfect for me to experience local nightlife and meet some amazing people. A 15min walk to Shinjuku Station so easy access to all of Tokyo. I loved my stay here. Would definitely stay here again.
