Nice hotel but room had issues

We were there for just one night. The A/C didn’t work no matter what we tried and this was during an intense heat wave. The serviceman was unavailable to fix it as he had left at 6 p.m. The front desk man came all the way up to the 5th floor to try to help but couldn’t. He did, however, give us a free breakfast voucher and offered us points on the loyalty program, which was very kind. Just before going to bed we tried the television and it wouldn’t work. The blackout shades would not go all the way down and the very bright streetlights they use to light the highway shone right in our window. We weren’t about to ask for any more help at that point as we were tired. As far as the rest of the room was concerned, it was fine. The food at the restaurant was very good.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bronte location. Conveniently located, and easy to access. The staff were excellent. The Burger Theory restaurant is value added if you arrive late, or just plain tired from your drive. The only downside was, the hot water takes a while to arrive, so be patient.
